My kids have had countless pairs of Stride Rite shoes in Wide widths (including XXW), so I am familiar with how the Wide sizes are supposed to fit. This shoe in a Wide is not wide. Also, typically the Wide width offer more height but these did not at all.We have had other styles of Stride Rite fisherman sandals that were great, but this one is a poor design and a cheaper quality than the others. Not worth the lesser price.Read Best Reviews of Stride Rite Jordan Sandal (Toddler/Little Kid) Here
my 22-month-old girl is not easy on shoes, but these have held up wonderfully to the daily abuse of running, splashing, tripping, scuffing, and lots and lots of walking. it''s great to see a wide-width shoe that isn''t too clunky or disproportionate. we''re actually ordering the next size up.

It''s an added bonus that she can wear these to daycare because of their closed-toe design. As labled on the shoe box they really are unisex because my daughter''s foot looks good in them and they don''t look like boy shoes. Yet, if she were a little boy, I can imagine that she would look equally boyish and appropriate in them. Lite weight and fit her foot fine. Wish I could find them in her next shoe size for purchase.
