Pefect for those who need arch support and have hot feet with toes and heels that like their open air freedom.I neeeded a good quailty flip flop which you can quickly slide into, speed walk, hike, and wear in the water... all with out a fear of tripping, having them slide off, or rolling my ankle.The extra (adjustable) strap keeps it on my foot and enables me to walk easily without having to use any extra calf muscles I normally do with flip flops which helps since my foot flexing/walking is impaired by nerve damage in my lower back.I wear them nearly all the time and LOVE them especially for kayaking.I kayak for an hour or more at a time so these I can wear to protect my feet getting in and out & easily slip them off and back on without having to leave over to reach my feet/rock my boat. They are so comfortable I wear them all the time.I just wish they had more color choices, a leather casual wear or all black version, and came in 1/2 sizes.I''m a 6.5 and read that Teva''s tend to run small so got a 7 and find them a touch too big.I''ll buy the 6 next time... Oh and I have a medium to wide foot and the fixed straps are a hair snug which is what I wanted b/c I didn''t want my feet to swim or slide on the sole when wet.
