I bought the Walking Cradles Alva Slides to replace a similar pair of Ecco slides that I loved until the dog ate them. These Walking Cradles slides are probably the most comfortable casual shoes I''ve ever worn. There was no break-in period. The insole is comfortable without socks no rubbing or chafing. They''re comfortable and cute. I plan to buy more in other colors and get rid of some of the uncomfortable shoes in my closet!

These Walking Cradles (a slide called Alva) are the first pair of WC I''ve ever owned, and they were extremely comfortable from the first time I pulled them out of the box and tried them on. The style is flattering, too, even if it is white (which some say makes them look larger than darker colors), and I''m thoroughly pleased with my purchase. The price was fair, and I wouldn''t be surprised if I found myself ordering a pair in another color one of these days. The style is simple enough to dress up or dress down. They enhance just about any outfit short of a cocktail dress. Okay, maybe even that, depending on your idea of fashion! In short, it was an OUTSTANDING BUY!

The shoes fit well in toe toe area, but the heel is very narrow.The shape of the sandal forced my heel off to one side, so it would never sit very well in the very narrow heel surface.As a result, I was always adjusting the sandals.After a couple hours, my toe/ball of foot area hurt from having to make this adjustment.I''m not sure why this was happening.Perhaps my feet are shaped crooked.But I find the crocks styles much better fit.
