This would be five stars except as others have mentioned there is that funny sound when you walk, of air being squished out of the padded soles.I decided that it is pretty quiet and because I will primarily wear these around the house and for walking the dog, they were worth keeping.I have never had a thong in this exact style before and really love how it feels and looks on my foot.The gold interior, while not as obvious to others, gives these a really posh and exotic look.I want to say that the red is more muted than it looks online still very pretty, and more likely to mesh with more items in my wardrobe.
The construction also seems very solid these do not look like they will fall apart.I have only had them for one day of course :).
One other point if your foot is wide, these do seem a bit narrow in the sole my fairly average feet seem to be almost ready to spill off the sides.

These are cute and comfortable but I only gave them 4 stars because they are not comfortable enough to wear someplace where you would be doing alot of walking. I have more comfortable sandles to wear shopping, like Clarks Seymour Haven and Fitflops. But these are dressey enough to wear out for an evening.
