Merrell Women''s Parva Sandal

I received these gorgeous little sandals a few days ago and finally it''s in the 80s here and I got my first chance to wear them today.I bought them specifically to wear to the salon for my pedicures which is probably the only time I will wear them.

I wore them out to the grocery store for a couple of hours and the tops of my feet are rubbed red.The leather is not lined and as a result, the roughness of the joined or glued leather rubs the skin on the top of my feet.I expect I can fix it with fabric medical tape.However, at $85 I would expect much better from Merrell.The only thing I was worried about with this shoe was the toe thong.

I have worn Merrell shoes for years (and rarely other brands) and have several pairs of the Sundew and the sandal style before that one.This is the only Merrell shoe that I will not recommend.I should have just bought rubber flip flops for pedicures.All boxes and wrappings were disposed of last week or I would definitely consider sending these back.

This is a well made, sturdy flip flop of good quality materials.It is good looking, too!The sandal was true to size.Arch support was fair, but I have plantar fasciitis, and this shoe didn''t provide enough arch support for me.Sadly, I returned it.
