I was tired of zapping myself every time I touched a piece of equipment at work, and was worried I might cause ESD damage to the circuit boards I handle. Wearing these sandals, I never feel any static electricity. I haven''t yet had to opportunity to test the conductivity with a proper ESD ground check station, but I shall when I next visit the factory.They fit like normal birkenstocks, and the heel strap is nice to keep them from sliding off. I had to order a size up (eu.46) after the size 45s were too small. I wear a US 12, but my feet are wide.
the color is a nice bluish slate color, and doesn''t clash with dark socks or jeans or khakis.
