For wide feet these are plenty wide, but they seem to run a little long.I need to return mine for a half size smaller

I walked all over France and Italy in these shoes for two weeks, no stockings or socks. They were perfectly comfortable and completely stable and safe--up hills, down stairs, on grass, on stone, on concrete and through mud. These are wonderful shoes to travel in in the summer--they go with jeans, shorts, skirts, etc. and wear beautifully. I''ve had mine for years and they just get a little more broken in. I wish they came as 3 in. heels.

Wow, what a great shoe for summer, cool and comfortable, with a classic style that will last as long as they do.Excellent construction, love the tread.I am particularly impressed with the way the back strap fits snug without any rub whatsoever.I bought mine in the black, goes with so much.It is the perfect way to stay cool if you have a job where sandals that are barely-there are not appropriate. I''ve worn different versions of huaraches most of my life, but these are probably the best.Good solid rubber tread sole versus the slick leather sole I''ve been used to gives you some arch support and cushioning, perfect fit on my average width size 7.5 feet and they''re REALLY comfortable right out of the box.They''re kind of pricy, but they''re very well made and should last through many summers.I think I need to order another color so I don''t wear my first pair out too soon.;)

The leather was not as soft or pliable as I had hope but there were weightier concerns which caused me to return the shoes.The left shoe appeared to be longer than the right and in fact was too long for my foot.Also it appear as though the shoes had been previous rejected by someone else; there was debris on the soles of the shoes and the tissue shaped for insertion in the toes of the shoes was not in the shoes but lying beside the shoes in the box. At the very least, the company could/should have cleaned the soles and properly repackage the shoes.
