This pair of shoes is exactly like other reviews had described.Good looking and comfortable but with a serious flaw.The straps will not stay tightened and they run small.I normally wear a 7.5 in Keen shoes and I needed an 8 in these.The strap defect is really a problem.I have them fixed for the moment with a piece of sticky velcro attached to the strap so that they don''t slip.I really wanted these shoes for traveling and am trying hard to make them work but they are not Keen''s best.

I had seen friends with Keen''s and was always impressed with how they looked and held up. I read ALL of the reviews before buying this pair. I didn''t want to spend a great deal of money and be disappointed. I did buy them a half size larger after reading that they run small. That was VERY good advice. I wear a 7.5 and the 8''s fit perfectly. I did find that they rubbed on my little toes, that''s probably just me.. trying to wear them w/o socks; a thin pair of socks immediately took care of that issue. The straps do want to ease themselves loose after wearing them for hours.. but never come un-done so I found it to be of no consequence, as they really didn''t effect my ability to walk and I just reached down and retighten the "one" that did losen up. I will buy more Keen''s in the future. I like mine and comfort is important as I have a "new" knee and need good footwear!

These shoes are very comfortable. I have had problems with the straps staying tight but have been able to tuck the end into the buckle and have helped solve that problem.
