For the most part I totally love these boots. They look amazing with skirts, pants, trousers, dresses... everything.I have athletic legs and these make my legs look long and lean.The color is very versatile and matches almost everything.Unfortunately it does seem that blue jeans rub off a bit on the tops of these boots so you have to be careful... perhaps using a protective spray prior to use would be worth it if you''re getting the lighter color...

Comfort-wise they are really nice... The sole does have a bit of cushion to it.It''s definitely not a slipper or running shoe type of sole but its better than most high heels.On that note, the heel is a good height not too high that it''s uncomfortable, but enough to make you feel cool.

My one major complaint NO TRACTION.The bottom of these is completely smooth... not a huge issue when you''re walking on the street or sidewalk, but if it rained or there was ice you''d have absolutely no chance. I may end up buying separate traction pads to stick on the bottom because they are so slick....

I really could not wait to get these, but then I got them and could not get my foot into them at all. I normally wear a 6 in shoes and these were way too small. Will need at least a half size if not a whole size larger. Sorry to have to return....

I ordered these in both the Cognac and Sand colors. I know that these desert boots will be all the rage come Fall, they will also be great in helping me transition my wardrobe. I will start to wear them with my flirty summer dresses and maxi skirts as August rolls around. I ended up returning the Sand shade, but I fell deeply in love with the Cognac! Perfect shade to match any and everything, and I love the distressed finish--slightly darker in areas. The Sand color was off somehow texture wise for me, the suede looked "funny" up close. Not a problem with the Cognac. The heel is definitely 3 inches high (I measured) and the fit is true to size, and they are comfy and easy to slip in to. Amazon had the best price, on a great looking, trendy boot that can be worn just about year round.

These shoes are comfortable for a teaching job, walking around school all day and being on my feet. I got the leather upper. I can wear them with dresses, skirts, or pants. They do have a worn look to them, and the leather easily scuffs. They also made a scuff on my wood floor, but that rubbed off with a rubber sneaker sole.

Overall nice shoe, I wear them a lot!
