I developed a bad case of Plantar Fasciitis on my left foot during a run in Japan in October.I bought my first pair of Spenco inserts from a mall shoe repair store and they worked so well, that I wanted to get some more pairs, but at a better price.Amazon was the ticket for that. These insoles are really good quality in material and they fit without any trimming into my pair of size 10.5 Docker business casual shoes and also into my size 11 Nike Bowerman series running shoes (I took out the inserts in the running shoes and put in the Spenco''s without any issues). After two months of continuous usage they are still feeling like new. These inserts are really helping the pain when walking and running, so my foot is gradually coming around.I will probably be using these for the foreseeable future to prevent a reoccurrence once my foot is completely better.

These seem very cushy when you first step into them and the heel is very comfortable but unfortunately that little square of padding in the ball of the foot is very irritating and painful after a short time. That is the most sensitive part of the foot. It reminded me of the Princess and the Pea story where the longer you walk on it the more irritating it becomes. It is meant to be a cushion but ends up being very painful. It feels as though your sock is wadded up under the ball of your foot. I tried them in tall boots while shopping and couldn''t wait to get them off when I got home. I then tried them in hiking boots and couldn''t even walk around the house so I pitched them. If they would eliminate that ball pad they would probably be great because the rest of the insole was very soft yet supportive.Read Best Reviews of Spenco(r) PolySorb(r) Total Support Premium Insole Here
These are WONDERFUL support footbeds only ONE problem... they SQUEEL when you walk. They need to be trimmed with duct tape and so does the inside of the shoe where they rub then they are quiet as a mouse.I am surprised Spenco doesn''t address this problem.I''m sure it would be an easy fix by using a different material to finish off the footbed.I LOVE the support they give so I work with the "problem".I highly recommend these to anyone who needs orthotics. They do the same thing at a fraction of the price so you can afford to have them in ALL your shoes.Want Spenco(r) PolySorb(r) Total Support Premium Insole Discount?
I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis.I bought these in hopes that they would easy my heel discomfort in my day to day shoes. They helped a little.
The quality of materials looks better in the pictures than in person. For $25, I was expecting better.I think that is part of the reason some other reviewers felt that they wore out too quickly.I was a runner for many years and I think high milage runners will go through a set of these in less that 100 miles. Were I still a runner, I would look elsewhere. For regular folks in regular shoes they are probably ok.
The arch support was not quite highor stiff enough for me.The heel padding was a little stiff for me.On the other hand, they are better than the inserts that came with my shoes. The shoes I put them in were billed as black cross trainers.I use them for work because black is a little dressier and I wanted the comfort of an athletic shoe.
So for me they were a little overpriced.I would probably buy more if they were $10.As it is I intend to try to beef up the arch support and keep looking for another product.
