Tretorn Women''s Emelie Rubber Boot

I had originally purchased Tretorn''s Kelly style of rainboot, but it did not fit over my calves at all. But these did not disappoint! There are 4 adjustment holes, and I can fit my 15.5" calves *with room to breathe* into the second to the last size. So still some room to go for thick socks/thick pants. Perfect!

These seemed to be great boots comfortable, waterproof, roomy in the calves, attractive. I loved them and wore them a lot. However, just a few months after buying them, they developed a crack near theball of my foot and are no longer waterproof!! This is definitively not the result of a puncture but rather seems to be from the rubber drying up and wearing out. I am really disappointed because these boots were not that cheap. I should have gotten the Muck brand boots instead my husband has those and they LAST.

Great rain boots they look good and feel good.Well made just a tad big but then rain boots usually are so you can get thick socks in them. My jeans fit perfectly inside them and they keep my dry.Perfect in every way.

The product itself isn''t bad. Be warned though, it really is best to try them on at a brick and mortar before ordering them online. I have wide feet and I typically wear a size 9.5. Since Tretorn doesn''t do half sizes I decided to go half a size up and ordered a 10. BIG MISTAKE. When they arrived I tried them on and felt quite certain that I could fit someone else''s feet in there along with mine. I went to a store that carried them just to see what size I should have ordered: I ended up fitting perfectly into an 8. I am NOT a size 8, these boots are just crazy big.

I hate Hunters because they are so expensive, but I was seriously considering buying the Huntress boots because my last pair fo extended calf rain boots cracked on me after about 6 months. Then, I found these and they are amazing. Comfortable, great quality, easy to walk in, room in the calf for jeans and the adjustable strap actually gives you more space if you need it. Unlike, Hunter boots. Read: Hunter sucks, these rock. Plus, you can''t beat the price.
