Crocs doesn''t make many sandals that don''t have that thong-like thing between the big toe and the next toe and the few they have currently, with the exception of the Cobbler Slide, all feel uncomfortable to me so I turned right around and bought one of each color of these sandals. When you find a Crocs that fits your foot and is comfortable, I''ve learned from experience it won''t be there when you''re ready to replace it. You''ve got to buy multiple pairs up front. And at $25 and change, I could get nearly ten pairs for the price of one of my MBT sandals. Plus, I love that I''ll be able to get it wet without messing it up. At one point, a salesclerk insisted to me that walking on wet pavement could cause the MBT sole to deteriorate!
I wear a 9 although I''m probably somewhere between an 8.5 and 9 depending on the shoe. This sandal runs very slightly large but the 9 works OK for me and an 8 would have been too small. If you''re a solid half-size, you probably will make out fine ordering down. I thought I''d try them out at a Crocs store to test for size, but for some reason they didn''t carry this style at all.I purchased these for a recent trip to Hawaii. I wanted a sandal that was beach friendly, didn''t tear the skin off the tops of my toes, and could blend in for evenings out. I really like the Dc. Scholls sandal, but the wood bottom is not my idea of comfort. I was thrilled to find a Croc interpretation of the D. Scholls sandal. While it might not have been the most stylish shoe for nicer restaurants, most of the places were dark enough that no one really noticed that they were Crocs or were just plain polite enough not to point them out. Another thing about Hawaii is that downtown can be both stylish and extremely casual. Once you leave Waikiki, you''d look like a fool wearing anything other than shorts and a t-shirt (or Hawaiian shirt, guys). These blended in around the rest of the island and actually looked a little nicer than the ubiquitous flip flop or gym sneaker worn by just about everyone else (if they were wearing shoes at all). After wearing them walking around Waikiki, they did start to rub one of my toes, but I don''t think I ever found a sandal that doesn''t do this besides a very worn-in Birkenstock. These Croc sandals were PERFECT for the beach because they can get wet and are light and easy to carry when going barefoot. They also didn''t weigh down my carry-on luggage. I''m looking forward to wearing them this summer. Again, because they are so light, they are easy to carry in a shoulder or gym bag.
My normal shoe size is 8-8.5 so I naturally bought a size 8 and it worked fine for me.

I love the style of this shoe.Due to a lot of reviewers saying that the shoe ran large, I went down a size which was a mistake.I found this shoe to run the same size as all other Crocs.I am generally size 8 1/2 and wear a 9 in Crocs (with the exception of the flip flops, in which I wear an 8).This pair is no different. If you normally wear a 9 in Crocs, I suggest you purchase a 9 in this style also.
