I''m pleasantly surprised went half size over my sandals size to be sure and it''s a perfect fit.Pretty sandal, that''s well made.Can''t complain.Was worried about it running small but not so, glad I took the risk and didn''t order 39.5.It would have been too large.If you''re 8.5M in sandals...order a 39 (US9B).

I bought these sandals for a trip to eastern Europe, thinking that the elaborate beading would be a nice accent reminiscent byzantine decor.Unfortunately, they didn''t make it into my suitcase because a 5-block "test drive" gave me such bad blisters on my heel and ankle that I had to wear bandaids for the next week!I''ve worn them a couple of times since (with judicious padding of course) and it''s been ok, but I''m still not willing to risk wearing them on a longer walk or trip.

Comfort aside, these sandals really do look great.The beading is gorgeous and looks very expensive and high quality.I was afraid that the gold heel would be a bit too much, but it''s very understated.The footbed is a bit slick, so it gets slippery with sweaty feet, but the toe straps keep it in place just fine.The color is all browns, grays and yellow, and not as much black as I expected from the picture.I was disappointed at first, but have actually found the colors to be very versatile.

Overall, these are pretty cool sandals, but anyone who is blister prone or who wants to use these for extensive walking might want to think again.

These are my fav sandals. They are perfect in every way and look VERY expensive. CUTE!!! They are really made well, the stones don''t come out, and the fabric backing is high-end. That cute gold heel is exceptional, too. Awesome! The picture does not do the shoe justice.
