A friend ordered these for me as a gift, and when I opened the package they were even nicer up close than in the pictures featured. The suede on the shoes is very supple. My only complaint would be that they fit a bit larger than the size, I am normally a 7.5 and i found these slightly roomy, would have gotten a 7 if I had known. Also the ankle strap is not made to fit small ankles, which I have. I will probably have to get another hole put in so that they can wrap my ankle tightly. Apart from the sizing issues they are a great shoe and am very happy with their appearance.
