got these today and they look like good quality and are really cute. I noticed right away that the zipper is hard and rides real tight up the side of my foot and ankle area. You can feel the zipper quite a bit. I will need to wear these with a longer thicker sock for comfort, but then that may effect the fit of the lower foot. I do have a normal average foot width and have never had issues before. I also noticed that the right boot zipper is pretty sticky and difficult to pull up.Hopefully that isn''t going to continue to be a problem after getting broken in. The overall comfortability is not great and the "leather'' does seem pretty stiff. After trying them on I am not as thrilled as I was upon getting them out of the box. I will give these a tryout and keep you posted on how they are after wearing them. I have noticed as I''ve gotten older I am not as willing to suffer for my fashion as I was in my twenties. I just want to add, now that I have aorn them, that they do seem to scuff/scratch very easily too. Not sure if these were worth the $40.

I absolutely love the look of these bootscasual yet can be dressed up, very stylish. But I will be returning these. Lots of issues. First of all, the zipper is hard to zip up and down. Also as soon as I tried them on, I could tell the fit was very off. I could get my foot inside, but otherwise they felt almost a whole size small. The material has no give whatsoever and I bet walking in these would feel like cages on your feet. I can''t imagine them being comfortable. One of the biggest issues I had was that with all this discomfort, I realized that they looked almost as if I had them on the wrong feet. I took them off to examine, and it''s impossible to tell which foot each should go on. (The picture seems as if the zipper goes on the inside?) I actually even tried them on the opposite feet and they felt the same! That''s obviously an issue.

So unfortunately I will NOT recommend these shoes, which is sad because they are cute.
