I caught these sandals at a pretty big discount and decided to splurge on them.I have a lot of trouble finding strappy sandals due to a high instep, thick toes, and slightly wide feet.So naturally, I was a little nervous that these wouldn''t fit, but they surprised me!While my foot definitely fills the space within the straps, it''s not too tight, and the snug areas feel like they will stretch a small bit.Since these fit the width of my feet so well, they''re probably not for the narrow-footed.The heel is a little roomy, but the ankle strap is plenty snug -almost a little too snug, but then again I also have thick ankles (shall we say I''m built on firm foundations?).But the best part of these sandals is the insole.It''s slightly contoured, so it hugs your foot and that leather is very soft and smooth.While they''re a little stiff and require some quick breaking in, that thick insole is very supportive.Not quite soft, but the material does yield a bit with each step.Overall a WONDERFUL shoe.Beautiful, comfortable they even smell nice coming out of the box. (I''m a sucker for that nice-leather smell.)Can''t recommend these enough!
