Still and all, your baby grows fast, and pulling the velcro open over and over again provides for hours of entertainment in the car.Also, if your baby has chunky, far-from-dainty ankles and feet (which sadly, he inherited from me... sigh), this version of Robeez with velcro won''t leave those red marks on his feet, thus rendering them even less fit for those look-how-sweet-and-tiny-my-baby''s-feet-are photos.

Bought these for our 13 month old once he started walking more. These shoes worked well for summer time, and he seemed comfortable in them. I think these shoes are great transition shoes as a child moves from a crawler to a walker. Once walking is the norm, and little feet are steadier, I''d recommend opting for some hard soled shoes. Our little boy didn''t like these soft shoes on grandma''s gravel driveway. In shortworks well and would recommend for a crawler/beginning walker. Easy on and off, and the shoes stay on well.
