Once my son started walking I put him in a cheap version (Ministar) of soft-soled shoes.They worked fine since most of his walking was indoors.As he got more adventuresome and spent more time outdoors, I needed a shoe that could withstand the occasional puddle.I wanted to keep him in relatively soft/flexible soles, so after doing research I purchased these Robeez sandals.He has been wearing them for the past two months, and they have been great.They seem comfortable (he is always excited to put them on and go outside), he walks easily in them and they keep his hot little feet from getting sweaty.They have lots of holes for airflow and are the best sandals I have found for keeping feet cool.This is my first pair of Robeez, so I don''t know what their endurance is, but I hope they last a long time.

I don''t know why all other baby and toddler shoes aren''t made like this. These are wonderful shoes for tiny feet, especially new walkers. I wanted a soft, flexible, lightweight but sturdy shoe for my 16 month old and these fit the bill perfectly.They stay on and I think they must be much more comfortable for him than many of those other hard or thick-soled sandals I see out there.

I could not find a shoe to fit my 14 month old he has a short and wide foot.He hated everything I put on him until this little sandle.It fits well, it''s soft yet durable, and he does not have a problem walking in them.
