While these shoes are undoubtedly gorgeous, they are not for the feint of heart.Contrary to everyone else''s suggestion, I bought true to my size (6.5) and found that my heel popped out the back.I returned and ordered the 6, and boy oh boy were they tight!They are more of a narrow fit.While the right one actually fits perfect now, the left is still kind of tight.Besides that height of the heel combined with the lack of platform to counter made them hard to walk in for long periods of time.I suggest to not plan a night of dancing in them, but find a place to perch, cross your legs, and have everyone admire your show stopping shoes, while sparing your feet the pain! Having said that, as a collector of shoes, I think they are worth every penny.

BUTTKICKING MEETS DEMURELY SEXY, AND SIMPLY GORGEOUS!!! First thing to note is that these are not for the novice! I''ve read some reviews by those who complain about the angle and how hard they are to walk in. If you are used to walking in anything 3-1/2" and above you will do just fine.If however, you usually wear heels 3" and under these may not work for you, and you''ll most likely teeter around looking like your "playing dress up" in mommy''s shoes. I almost never buy a shoe under 4" so I pulled these off with an easy strut, got compliments all night, and lasted an easy 6 hours before I called it quits. They are just a little snug at the toe but give after wearing. If you size up the weight of the heel will cause them to flip off your feet. And as for the heel being a little weighty, if your legs are in shape and again, used to high heels it''s very minor, as it didn''t bother me at all.As for the studding detail, you cannot expect to "slop" around carelessly and expect them to hold up. This is not a shoe for clubbing and dancing etc. where you''ll be colliding with people, as you will lose some of the studs. They are however, well suited to amp up your look for an elegant ocassion. Again, if you are not a true high heels girl don''t bother, you won''t be happy. If you are, then you will love them!!

There is no denying that this shoe is a show stopper. The studs make the shoe somewhat heavy but isnt bothersome. However, the 4.5 inch heel with little to no platform makes the shoe extremely steep and very difficult to walk in. The height itself isnt necessarily the problem but the fact that it has such a drastic angle is. Its as if Im almost standing on my tip-toe like a ballerina. I too also wonder who gave the go ahead for production of this shoe. I wish Sam Edelman would revise the way the shoe is made and produce a more comfortable and walkable version. Sad to say I had to return the shoes.

These are drop dead gorgeous shoes upon sight! But these shoes hold true to the saying "things aren''t always what they appear to be." Firstly, for me they ran about a half size small,I wear a 6.5 and I got the size 7. Secondly, they weigh a ton! which further contributes to the awkwardness of the overall execution of how the shoe is constructed. The heel is about 5inches and the vamp of the shoe plunges so deep that it makes it difficult if not impossible to walk! It feels as if I''m falling forward and struggling to walk (it''s not the height I''m a heel vet), and the fact that the studs make the shoe so heavy I wouldn''t dare to try and walk at a fast pace. I''m just wondering what super human tried on these shoes and gave the okay for store distribution. Definitely a beautiful shoe as far as looks go, but are surreal for normal wear, if you are going to sit down all night, then great but these are not walking/dancing shoes. Not worth the money. If Sam would have added a platform in the front of the shoe these would be perfect. An Unfortunate, but undoubted return. :(

bought these shoes to ship to the uk. after reading previous reviews, i went for half a size up as i was told they came up small-however the shoes i have bought are now too big and i have to wear in soles to improve the fit. these are stunning shoes i just wish i hadnt gone half a size up. really eye catching and not too high. would recommend
