I was really surprised how the shoes were not at all like I thought they would be like.The picture was not very accurate at all.They were a very bright gold color, not like the picture..so sorry.I did send them back.

I did not purchase these shoes from Amazon.But if Amazon had my size I totally would in every color!! I wear a 7E (or 7WW).i have these in black patent.I am a lawyer and I wear a suit every day.I get compliments every time I wear these shoes (ha ha today when I bemoaned about the white dog hair on my black suit, my coworker said you don''t even notice the dog hair because the shoes are so cute!).These are some of the few cute heels that come in an E width.And in addition to being really, really cute (the criss-cross really stands out if you wear contrasting colored tights or pantyhose, or nude pantyhose with the black shoes), they are super-comfortable.My feet actually say "ahhhhh" when I put them on.

So, the heel is high enough to be fashionable, the criss-cross gets them noticed, and the shoes are really comfortable.These shoes are tough to find so take advantage and get them while you can!(just leave all the 7E''s for me, please!)

We received the shoes quickly, which was nice.The picture makes them look like they are a rich, silvery gold.They are actually quite yellow gold.Too yellow.Would have sent back if we had found a more subdued gold shoe. We did not, so kept the shoes.
