Birkenstock Women''s Arizona Sandal

I have many pairs of Birkenstock sandals and they are great. I wanted something navy or dark blue to go with jeans (I like my shoes to match my pants). One of the only blue pairs I could find were these Arizona Soft Footbed Denim Suede sandals.Although the color was perfect, I did not like the soft footbed feature. (I''ve been wearing the regular cork bed for years, and that''s what I''m used to.)Also, I didn''t realize it from the picture, but the suede upper is not "stiff", but flops down, so that you can''t just slip your foot into the sandal; you have to hold the straps up to get your foot in. These shoes are of the highest quality; it''s just a personal preference on my part.And as always the service and selection on Amazon.com is second to none!

Love the comfort, their is a big diference in the feel of the footbed, I have worn Birks for years, wish they would have done this along time ago, they need to put this foot bed on all their sandals,great color too!

ve been wearing "birks" for the past four or five years and they feel great on my feet.I look from the ankle down like someone in the 1960''s but as long as they are comfortable, I really don''t care.I do find that the soft sole does not give me nearly the support the hard sole does.I have the nubucks as well as the suede and like them all.I find the Arizona Style to be the most comfortable.

Thought Birkis were so ugly til I tried them on!! Ahhh so comfortable! Love the soft footbed even if you don''t have to stand for long, they''re just so soft to walk in & wear.The color goes with everything too!! Hard to find my narrow foot size too. Very happy with these would wear them all the time if temps in the midwest allowed!!
