The silver ring on these flip flops is not pliable and hurts my feet.The sole is so thin that you can feel what you step on.However, the sole is not hard but more like a cushion.I like the material that the sole is made out of, it just needs to be thicker.I am over 40 and need more support for my aching feat.These might work for a teenager.

I really liked that these were a bit different than your usual sandal, but was a little disappointed that the top part is pretty tight. I am hoping that after I wear them a while that they will loosen up a bit in their fit. otherwise, the quality is pretty decent, maybe a little "plasticy" with the silver medallion on the top, but the bottom is very comfortable. They were delivered ontime.
