Franco Sarto Women''s Rocket Boot

I bought two pairs of this boot when it was a Lightning deal, in smoke grey and camel derby. The smoke grey really looks more like a dark dark brown, but the camel derby is a very nice color. The zipper on the outside is just for show, but the inner zipper is the one that works. I have pretty wide calves and these fit nicely, and with some room to spare, probably due to the elastic band on the back of the boot. Although I usually wear a 6.5 the 7 was ok without socks and probably would have been just right with socks; I would recommend ordering a size up.

The style of the boot is nice, and although I''m short (just under 5''5") I didn''t think the shaft height was overwhelming. However, they did bunch at the ankle, which I didn''t like, and it was a bit of a struggle to get my foot in the boot. I also wasn''t crazy about the quality of the leather; I own a pair of Franco Sarto boots and the leather on that pair is soft whereas this one is a bit stiff and too shiny for my liking.

These boots looked great.Leather was of decent quality.HOWEVER, the fit was off and the zipper did not work properly so i had to return them.I probably would have returned them anyway because the 6.5 did not fit my normally 6.5 feet. The toe box area was narrow. The calf was small too, and i have wider than usual calves.Would recommend for petite women, narrow feet and calves

very good quality leather, nice profile, a little too big in calves for me, but mine are very skinny though. I liked the grey color a lot!
