They are just high enough to look good but not so high that you feel like you will either fall over or be in pain for hours and hours...
I would say that in Hawaii they were probably more comfortable because there isn''t nearly as much walking as there is in Disney... but all in all I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves heels but is also interested in comfort.Ordered these shoes on impulse and SO happy I did.First of all, they look fabulous with just about anything.Designer shoes can sometimes look out of place unless you have a designer outfit to match, but the combination of the elaborate, gold braided upper and cork platform gives just the right balance of snazzy and understated that can go with anything from a party dress to jeans.I get compliments every time I wear them, and they look like they cost every cent you paid for them (if not more).
I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are.The 1" platform makes the 3" inch heel very manageable, and there''s a sturdy rubber sole that makes sure you don''t slip.I was worried at first because the straps feel flimsy, but they''ve actually proven very resilient.I wouldn''t recommend doing too much walking in them, but generally they are very well made and aren''t painful to wear.
My one gripe is that the footbed is made of gold shiny material, which can get pretty slippery after having them on for a while. While it''s not terrible, they would be far more comfortable if the footbed were a made of something that provides a little more friction.
