Aerosoles Women''s Chlothesline Sandal

I don''t know what the manufacturing process is that leaves these sandals REEKING of

a gas/or pesticide(??) smell.

Or, maybe it''s the manmade materials?????

The minute I opened the box I could smell it, took the shoes out of the box and

set them down on the counter, when I came back about 10 minutes later, the mudroom REEKED, and I mean

REEKED of the horrible smell.I immediately put them back in the box, printed my

return label, and left them in the garage until I take them to the post office

for return.

This was the second pair I have ordered in 2 weeks!!!

I thought the odor with the first pair,

ordered from QVC, was from something at the storage facility or just a fluke.

I kept them for 4 days outside hoping the smell would disappear.

It did not.Not even a little bit.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Aerosoles, whatever is causing this, make it stop!!

I ordered these on a last minute whim. I am really glad I did. They are very cute and comfortable. I would have given 5 stars if the left shoe fit just a little bit better. It doesn''t feel like a wide size butI am sure it will stretch.

these are made of soft leather and have a cushion-y sole, so they worked great for me.I need a wide size and these are okay, but could have been made a bit wider.Don''t seem really like a wide shoe, but with the soft leather straps they should work okay.They weren''t really the yellow color they look like in the picture, more of a goldenrod color.
