The boots are beautiful. I got a few compliments on them from strangers. I also love the real wool lining. But these boots are by no means winter boots to battle cold and snow. The sole is a little bit of too thin. I could feel the hard ground walking in distance. In addition, they are a bit narrow. My feet are narrow to medium in width. These boots have no extra room width-wise for my feet.

This boot has very good value, in fact it is beyond my expectation.I never heard about this brand before but I thought I would give it a try since it was on sale and seems to be very sturdy and well insulated for the winter snow. I am not disappointmed.It is well built and fits comfortably with a (C/D) size, just perfect.I''v never seen this brand sold in the store, so I would recommend to buy it from Amazon. The shipment time arrived as expected.

With its tapered toe this is a very stylish European-looking boot, not at all "clunky". Made in Canada, it is completely lined in natural wool fleece, including the insole. And it''s waterproof. But it does run a little small. I usually wear a 7 shoe, but wear a 7.5 boot to accommodate a heavier sock. This 7.5 felt short even with a regular sock. And the N width is very, very narrow! It has a medium instep not totally flat but not really high enough for a high instep foot. It looks like it is extremely well made and will provide years of service. The only reason I give this 4, not 5, stars is the sizing.
