I was 4-6 months pregnant in the summertime and needed a sandal that gave me a little bit of heel (flat shoes were uncomfortable) and were wide enough that my feet wouldn''t be squished as they swelled as as pregnancy progressed. These sandals are perfect! It doesn''t look like it from the picture, but you can slide the ring up and down so you can adjust where the straps hit you and how loose they are on the bottom and top. Perfect for work and weekend! Also they are very lightweight and the leather is soft, but sturdy.
