FRYE Women''s Steffi Back Zip Boot

I bought these boots in Tan and love the color.The leather is stressed and they are casual but classy.Frye''s run a little big I usually go with a whole size down.I wear a 7 in most shoes and the 6''s fit perfectly.The zipper in the back makes it very easy to get on and off.I find the heel to be the perfect hight for casual wear even though I usually wear a higher heel.These boots were super conformtable right when I put them on.They seem to be well made so I hope they last a long time!

These boot are fantastic.They are comfortable and fit my narrow calves.They are really almost knee length, and not mid-calf.But they are beautiful and well made.

Really soft, high quality leather as to be expected from Frye. I found these to be true to size, but I like boots to have room for thick socks. I would not recommend going down a size. My calves are 13.5" and the shaft is a perfect size for me to tuck jeans into. I don''t know if I would wear them with a skirt because the boots might gape a little on my bare legs. I would guess 14" 14.5" calves are probably the perfect match for these boots.

The aged look is OK, I''m actually going to try and polish them back to black. The color is very similar to these Amazon photos, and not like photos I have seen on other websites. I was afraid the boots would be tarnished to grey and white... but they are mostly black.

My only complaint, because the leather lining is so soft and delicate, it often gets trapped in the zipper, which is at the back of the calf and can make it awkward to get on and off if you are in a hurry. This will probably improve as the leather ages.

Overall, LOVE these boots.
