Pour La Victoire just feels expensive--which is to say that your feet feel as comfortable as they should when you are wearing shoes that retail for $250. The foot bed is well padded and the shoe fit me comfortably true to size, even in the toe box. This type of shoe is generally true to size for me, though. I have seen reviews where this style is too small for others. If you tend to find high pumps a little small or a bit tight up front, you may have that problem here as well.

Please note that the shoe is leather, though: It will stretch. You don''t want to buy a shoe that is going to end up too large once it expands.

Also be warned that there is a lot of toe cleavage. I haven''t decided if I will wear these sans winter tights or not due to that. But I suspect I''ll get comfortable with the look because the polka dots and style of the shoe are just so much fun and so distinctive.
