Trotters Women''s Jeri Slip-On

I really love my Trotter Jeri Slip-on, they are very comfortable, I have narrow feet & long toes. Which make it hard for me to find shoes that don''t hurt my toes.However these were very comfortable, even on the 1st day.

Love, love, love this shoe.The platinum is more of a bronze (reason for 4 stars vs. 5), yet very attractive.The shoe style with the wide elastic strap is well balanced with the sling back.The look is contemporary.Easy for walking long distances.And works great with casual skirts, slacks and jeans.Possibly some casual dressy, too.Went back for the black and tango red.Arch support is great, too.

Sadly, my shoes arrived with defects and had to be returned. I really wanted to like them. I''ll also note that others have said these have good arch support but I disagree. You can see a silver "flap" in the picture at the arch but it provides no support. However, they are real leather and come in WW so for the right price I might try ordering again for my wide, prone to swelling feet.

I own several pairs of this style, purchased elsewhere. The platinum ones I bought are 1/2 size smaller than my others, but I loved them so much that I ordered another pair from Amazon.I wear an 11 slim, which almost all manufacturers have discontinued, so I was really excited to see them on sale in my size! But unfortunately, Amazon sent a narrow instead of a slim, and they were too wide.So I have two caveats -one is that Trotters shoes are hard to order on-line because of sizing inconsistencies, and two -the ordering process was terrible. I know this is a product review, but I wanted to warn others who are considering ordering from Amazon.Once I FINALLY found a contact number and got a customer service rep, things went smoothly but I wouldhave much preferred to have my shoes. Oh, yeah, they do stretch.

UPDATE: Amazon got these shoes back in stock, so I reordered and ONCE AGAIN, Amazon sent me a narrow instead of a slim!!! Another complaint -Amazon has now started changing prices frequently. These shoes were under $40 when I ordered, now they''re over $90. Don''t think I''ll be buying any more shoes from Amazon.

UPDATE AGAIN: Not only did Amazon send me something different from what I ordered, the customer service rep changed my reason for return and my explanation to make it sound as if I had made the mistake! Unbelievable!!!
