Well-made and very comfy.I wear 8 1/2 and ordered the large, which should fit size 8-9.I could have done with one size smaller, which is uncommon for my size range.Still wearable, though, and they feel fantastic.

Loved these when I got them. VERY comfortable. The comfort was nothing short of "a piece of heaven". However, within 6 months of (occasional) use, the stitching at the front of both slippers had failed and was soon followed by the stitching on the outside of both heel areas failing. Expensive item to have such a short life. Would not purchase this brand again.

I normally wear a WM size 7.5 to 8.Since this slipper comes in 6.5-7.5 and 7.5-8.5, I kind of fell right in the middle.I decided to go with the smaller of the two sizes because one of the reviews said it will stretch to fit.Well, at first, the shoe was almost uncomfortably tight (granted, I wear socks with them) and I ALMOST returned them.However, after a few days of wearing them, they broke into the perfect fit.There is a seam on the inside edge of one of the shoes that I thought would be a problem, but again, after they broke in, I don''t even notice the seam.I went to the local Cabella''s to take a closer look at this shoe and they all had that seam, but like I said, it does eventually go away and now I can''t even remember what shoe it was in.So, bottom line, at first the shoe wasn''t overly comfortable.They were too tight and that seam was annoying.After they broke in (maybe less than 12 total hours of wear), they turned into a VERY comfortable shoe and I probably won''t buy another brand in the future.I think I will stick with Acorn!If you''re like me and normally wear a "half-size" shoe, it will kind of depend on how you like your shoe to fit when determining size.For house slippers, I like my toes to touch the end but not be a super tight fit.If you like a looser fit, select the next size up, but remember, they do loosen up a bit.

In the past I bought 3 pairs of the Acorn Women''s Moccasin Slipper in different colors but otherwise all were the same style and size (Women''s L 8-9) and made in Maine.In March 2011 I bought 2 more pair exactly the same style & size as before (Women''s L 8-9).When they arrived the sole labels read Women''s L 8-9) but they were huge I''d estimate they are 1 whole size larger than my older ones.Also these new ones are made in China.Since my recent order was for 2 identical pair from 2 separate sources with both having the same oversize problem, I''m sure it wasn''t an isolated mislabeling issue.Something fell through the cracks between the manufacturer change from Maine to China.

I bought these exact slippers 6yrs ago. Thats how long they lasted! finally after a lot of wear and tear Ihad to get another pair. The rubber bottoms are excellent no slippage in case you like to go out in the rain to get the paper, you wont get your feet soaked. I wear a 6 1/2 so small is perfect. They are the best slipper I have ever worn.
