First, please do not buy this thinking it is the same as the Ash "Destroyer" boot found on Free People dot com.While they look VERY similar (and are) the MAJOR difference is the calf circumference.These have a very tight 14.25" calf while the Destroyer is around 16".Sadly, these were VERY tight on my calf.On top of that, one boot fit nice and snug, while the other would barely zip up and began cutting off circulation.The color is gorgeous and the detailing is fabulous.Ended up ordering the boots I was hoping for through Free People and hopefully they will be perfection.

I loved this boot and hated to send it back, but it ran narrow in the foot and too tight to fit around my "athletic" calf.There was no size 10 available, and I would have probably kept it, hoping the calf would stretch if there was.The leather in the foot is hard, and did not feel it would easily stretch.(I have trouble with the heel slipping in boots, and many times a 9.5 is just right).Great looking, rugged "jean" boot, however, and if it came in a shorter version, would certainly reorder.

I have these boots in the brown color and I love them. I have read other reviews (on other sites) saying they run small, but my usual size is an 8.5 and I got them in an 8 and they fit perfectly. I have a narrow foot and small calves and it is hard to find boots that are not too loose. They rubbed a little on my ankles the first few times I wore them but were broken in fast! Very comfortable. If you have wide feet, I would recommend trying these on before buying them.

Ash is one of my favorite brand boots.I like better than frye.These run about a half size small.This boot is a favorite ,very cool riding boot.I get alot of compliments.
