These are extremely stylish on the feet. They actually look like a very trendy ankle boot with an open toe. Great for summer and winter (in the warmer areas). The black leather is soft, as well as the soles and there is no need to "wear in" because they are so comfortable and good for the feet. I saw these in a specialized Birkenstock type good-4-your-feet shoe store and the price was more expensive by $45. Also, I love the two colors and want to buy the taupe color as soon as possible. I am very picky with buying shoes and only prefer the latest trends and hot looking designs, however, I have back issues and these are great and my back hasn''t hurt the day after! The arches are a little high because they truly provide arch support and I would not recommend getting a 1/2 size too small because the arch has to fit appropriately otherwise they may feel uncomfortable.
I LOVE these shoes.At first they rubbed on my arch area on one side, but after I "broke them in," it was no longer an issue.Perfect for a chic like me who loves stylish shoes that are also comfortable. And they are also good for those like myself, who want to wear sandals but don''t really love showing their toes!Sad to see the summer end, can''t wait to bring them out again next year.
