Love the shoes.My son is currently obsessed with Elvis, Carl Perkins and Rockabilly in general.So these were a delightful find.
I purchased this pair of BLUE FAUX SUEDE SHOES to use in a musical where my character badly dressed up to copy the garb of another character in the show who was a young, Elvis-look-a-like. These shoes are not cheap, but they are far less expensive than a pair of real blue suede shoes. The shoes looked great, but after only two rehearsals (they weren''t worn for the entire show), the back heel on one of the shoes started to come off. Eventually most of the rest of the sole starting to come off and the same thing happened to the other shoe, too. Not only that, but the same thing happened to others in the cast who hadpurchased the same shoes. We were able to fix the problem using some Shoe Goo 3.7 oz. Black Shoe Repair & Protective Coating , but it was frustrating after having spent so much good earned money and seeing how quickly the shoes were damaged. I still own these shoes and will probably wear them someday as part of another costume (either for Halloween or for another show). They do the job, but just be aware that though they look nice, there is no durability to them and they apparently are only designed for wearing a few times as casual wear.
