Recently, I bought these dress shoes for an all day event. These fit like a charm.I had no chance to break them in and wore them for more than 15 hours and my feet felt great when I finally got home.I love Munro shoes as they always fit and support my feet well. I have found that Munro shoes vary a bit in size and so you should not be discouraged if the first time fit isnt'' quite right.Munro shoes are based on a European size model (in which I would wear a 38). I have a very narrow heel and a fairly high instep.I have torn my left Achilles Tendon 5 times so finding a shoe that will fit well in the heel is critical.In the pump like this I get the best fit with a 8 narrow.If the instep fits too high on the foot as it does in the Munro Allison I need an 71/2 M.In the Allison the N is too narrow for my high instep.Munro shoes wear forever.I have several pairs that I have worn for more than 4 years.This clearly makes the cost worthwhile. I love that I can find them on Amazon as the nearest store that carries Munro shoes is more than 3 hours away.

I always order an 8 N in shoes.These were extremely small.I had to return them for a different size and at this point have $27.00 invested in postage.I have a pair of Munro American casual shoes that have lasted for many years.I was looking forward to having a pair of dress shoes with the same extraordinary comfort as my other shoes.I guess my feet have changed a bit in size and hope to get a pair that fit eventually.Probably should have shopped locally to determine size before ordering online.before i tried it on i thought the heel was too high, but they''re really comfortable. with the insole removed, it takes my dress orthotics and provides good support . i may actually have found a dress shoe i can walk in (though i can give you more information after i try to walk around somewhere other than in the house)
