Size was true.They were comfortable from the first wearing.Adds four inches of height without feeling like a high heel due to the platform.Normally, I find a wedge to be more unstable than a spike heel, but this shoe provides a stable footprint.No ankle rollovers.I can walk all day in these shoes without pain, blisters, or fatigue.I bought them in both black and brown to go with everything, but I would enjoy wearing them in one of the brighter colors.Great with a skirt; cute with Bermuda shorts, too.

These wedges have soft comfy soles. The leather top is a little cheap looking though. The soles are glued on, not stitched, so they would not last long. I returned them for the above reasons, and because they did not feel secure on my feet. Wedges are supposed to feel secure, as if you could walk in them all day. In these, the straps were loos around my ankles and I felt wobbly.
