Reading the reviews here benefited me in terms of sizing, so I want to pass it on in turn. I usually wear size 8B(M), but may go up half a size for certain closed-toe shoes. I didn''t bother ordering my usual size here, but went straight for 8.5C/D. This turned out to be the right thing to do because the length is perfect and so is the width across the forefoot. The drawback is that the heel and sides are a little baggy, making the overall appearance slightly sloppy.

The rest of what I have to say about this shoe is positive. The insole is well padded and the outsole is pleasantly grippy. The peep-toe doesn''t cut into flesh. I am puzzled by the description of the leather upper as "appears to be woven", because it IS actually woven and not just some funky embossing. This weaving is thoughtfully lined with fabric on the inside of the shoe so that it won''t chafe your foot. Indeed, I got no blisters after wearing these shoes to work for the first time yesterday. I didn''t even need to use any shoe inserts. I got the kiwi ones it sounds like an odd colour for shoes, but is such a light and neutral sort of green that it''s really quite matchable; it is also accurately depicted in the picture.

I originally ordered a size 8 regular--I''m always true to size and rarely have problems with shoe sizes. These were definitely too small and narrow for me, so I returned them and ordered a size 8.5 wide. Those just showed up and fit much better...they''re a smidgen big but I probably wouldn''t have wanted them in an 8 wide because I''m guessing they still would have been a bit tight. These ones will work for me--I may buy some inserts if they flop off my heels but I just traipsed around my house and they seem like they''ll be fine...especially once the summer heat creates heat swell in the feets. As far as the show itself, it''s a great style and the color is accurate. The footbed is well padded and this definitely seems like a pair of kicks that won''t fall apart any time soon. Hooray!
