Women''s Propet BEACH WALKER Mary Janes T Strap Loafers

Several years ago, I took a chance on a pair of shoes from a company I''d never heard of. I bought them because the price was right and because I was looking for a kind of funky shoes and they were...well, sort of funky looking. When I put those shoes on, it was heaven. I was astounded. It was as if the shoes had been made specifically and especially for my foot. I''d never felt anything like it. I''ve worn those shoes almost every single day since and almost panicked when I thought they had been discontinued and I couldn''t find another pair (I did eventually find them and now have several pairs of the same shoe they can be worn with literally anything.)

When I decided to try a different style, I naturally went back to the same company, Propet, and the Beach Walker T-straps were what I chose. I wanted something with color and I liked the T-strap style. Propet came though again almost. The toe of this shoe is much harder than the ones I had before, and the heel is not as cushioned. Don''t get me wrong, it''s not an "uncomfortable" shoe. But it''s certainly not a walker. The Nubuck is very attractive and fairly easy to clean up, the strap with velcro closure is easy to adjust and the inner sole is good. The sole of the shoe is thick and would probably wear well. The color is nice, not as red as I thought it would be, but still nice. If I were going to wear them more often I''m sure the heel and toe would soften up, but I only wear them occasionally and to me they feel a little stiff and hard. The other pair of Propet''s I have are well cushioned around the heel and the toes are very soft, which is one reason why I love them so much; they feel like sneakers even though they''re not and I didn''t even have to "break them in." This style didn''t quite feel like that.

I would recommend Propet shoes to anyone. If you''re on your feet for any length of time I don''t think you can find a better, sturdier, more comfortable shoe. They even make washable leather sneakers. I''m only giving these ones four stars because I think they fell a tiny bit short in the comfort department for ME, but even so, they are really really good shoes. Propet shoes are expensive and they''re not the most fashionable styles around. My Mary Joes work for me because I like funky looking shoes. But if you want a really good shoe for work or walking, Propets are excellent, in general. This pair is lovely, just not quite as good as the ones I had before.

I normally wear a 10ww but with as with most Propet products,I know they usually run small so I ordered an 11ww.Wrong.This particular shoe runs very big!In fact I have to wear heavy socks and insoles so they don''t fall off when I walk.

I suggest buying your regular size when ordering.
