Chooka Women''s Buffalo Bone Rain Boot

Adorable Boot. I wear an 8.5 and the nines were snug across the top of the foot. However, after 3 wears I noticed that the sole started stripping away on the inside, but that''s expected with most boots. However, by the 8th wear, I noticed a HUGE hole in the arch. There was a flap of rubber about an inch wide and an inch tall that I noticed only because my foot got wet in the snow. Then, on the tenth wear, the glue that keeps this boot together in the back gave way near my calf. I suspect that this particular no-shine rain boot material is the culprit. I''m sad about my first experience with Chooka because I''ve heard that they are a top choice. I never saw anyone on the street with my style and I loved them so much. But if they fall apart, it doesn''t matter how cute I think they are. Rain Boot Epic Fail. Next time, I''m buying a boot that is a solid piece of rubber without seams all over to ensure that they aren''t just glued together and will fall apart. *sigh*

I chose these boots for their cute pattern and for the fact that I knew Chooka was a good brand, they lived up to both! The red is a little brighter than the image but it looks really good. I usually wear between a seven and an eight and have average width feet. I bought a seven after experiencing loose rainboots in the past, and they fit like a glove. I like the feeling, but if you want room for thick socks or toe wiggling, go with the higher of your size range. They are really well constructed and don''t let any rain in. I even slogged through a pond and they withstood it :)

After only about 30 very gentle walks to pick kids up at school, the boots fell apart. One tear in the rubber near base and glue coming apart at the sole. Chooka offered NO customer support. Will not buy this brand again.

These boots are great and exactly what I expected!They are a bit snug with a heavy pair of socks, but I have high arches.I didn''t give them 5 stars because the lining what starting to peel off after a few weeks of wear. But other than that they have kept my feet dry this winter!

I always thought rain boots were stupid, living in California we don''t have much cause for them.Now they are making such cute boots and we''ve actually had some weather so I purchased these.LOVE them, sooooo cute and very comfortable, almost wish they were a regular boot!I''m a 7.5 I got and 8 and they fit well, probably not with thick socks though.
