Corso Como Women''s Savoy Thong Sandal

I got this sandal in black and it is just darling. I am a fan of thong sandals, but this one has some aspects that really make it special.

The footbed is curved just as shown in the photo. This little tweek makes ones foot look smaller and daintier than it truly is. The thong itself is long so that the flowers sitting on the piece which goes over the instep adds to this illusion on small, dainty, and very feminine.

The shoe runs fairly true to size. I purchased a 7 and normally wear a 7. This is just a tiny bit big where the piece goes over the instep; however, the lenght is correct for a 7. I considered getting a 6.5, but believe it would be too short, so I kept the 7. After walking in it for a couple of hours, I was used to the looseness and happy with the shoe.

I purchased the black and it is, indeed, black.

The previous commenter said that she had problems with the pink colored insole coming loose. I have not had that problem, but have only worn the shoe around the house which is not really a test of real life, hot and sweaty conditions. I imagine gluing the insole with a proper type of glue would cure this problem. I have never been crazy about shoemakers who put theat 3/4 insole in anyway. But I dearly wanted the shoe, so took my chances.

It is a flat shoe and over a period of time, walking in a flat shoe with no padding will cause pain. This shoe is not for knocking about. It is for looking glamorous and beautiful.

In addition to being darling, it is also smashingly attractive.

very comfortable the only downside is the inside leather tends to peel off so it sticks under your feet, apart from that its just ok

These all-leather (outsole, insole, and uppers) thong sandals are really beautiful, and fit true to size. I got the taupe color, and it is very neutral, exactly what I wanted. The footbed is padded, and the thong itself is thin, so there will be no chafing. Very comfortable, cute and feminine with the flower decoration. Love them!!
