I received this boot along with a pair of black ones, because I thought it was a good deal, but apparently I was wrong. The black ones were fine and even came packaged like it should with the stuffing inside the boot and the boot looking brand new. I can''t say the same for the tan boots. It looked refurbished and painted over. It was so bad looking, whatever polish or paint that they used made the boot look old, dry, cracked and used. To top it off, the paint on the side of the boot peeled off. I question if it is really leather. It is a hit or miss with these boots, so I would advise you to spend a little more elsewhere for better quality. I''ve never seen leather look so bad! Don''t wait it out like I did, return immediately if it looks funny, I could have said $40.

I loved everything about these boots except for the quality.The leather around the bottom part, (the part that covers the foot) is so thin that you can actually see through it infew spots, and it looks stretchy and almost flakey.It is also a visibly different color than the rest of the boot.I wonder if this was just the boots that I got, because no one else seemed to have this issue.I wanted to keep them, but I wore them around the house and my guy asked me why the bottom color was different than the rest of the boot...:(
