I was a little leary of buying the shoe because of the heel. I usually wear wedges or a thicker heel when I wear a shoe this high. The shoe looked just like the picture on the website. It was true to size. The platform helps with the height of the heel and the cone shape of the heel was a plus. They were comfortable and I got lots of compliments!! They went nicely with the dress I wore!!

I have a difficult time finding comfortable shoes even when I go to a store and try on dozens of pairs. My foot is wide in front and not at all wide at the heel. I also have bunions. After reading many positive reviews and being tempted by a spectacular sale price, I took a chance and ordered these in a wide (C/D) width. I love them! Right out of the box, they are comfortable. These shoes are very well made of soft leather. There is plenty of cushioning and arch support. The 38W fit my 7 C/D foot. This size may not be long enough if you are a size 7 1/2.

I have been wearing these shoes most the summer, and while they took a long time to break in, they were worth it. I really like the soft leather, and the insole have become very comfortable. The quality of construction seems great so far, maybe not as nice as my Redwing boots, but I also got these for around $120 on here, so keep an eye out for the deals. I have a causal office, but feel comfortable wearing these with a tie. I wear either these or my Redwings everyday.The satin finish to the leather is very nice, I''m not one to have flashy shiny shoes. I still don''t love the sanded sole look, but its nice to not have to worry about 1 scrape on the side making them look beat up. My only complaint about the look is the roundness of the toe along with the extension of the sole makes them appear a little clownish, but I doubt anyone would notice.
I will eventually buy another pair of Frye''s.
I understand that the first impression may be not enough, but now we think it''s the great shoes as smart casual footwear.
The regular price is high, but I hope quality is the same level as the price.

these fit nicely, are constructed of what feels to be quality leather, and they look good.They are not super dressy, and the edges of the soles are rough-finished with a rasp, so they look more like your well-loved cowboy boot soles rather than shiny-edged dress oxfords. This look would be quite alright for me, since I live in casual California and would be mostly wearing them with jeans anyway.
However, I ended up returning them. The left and right I got fit very differently (no I don''t think it''s my feet). Almost as if the insole on one were sunken in a bit on the heel. One of the shoes also had polish smeared on the edge of the sole. And the edges of the soles were a different shape from each other. Basically it looked like the left and right were made by different people at different times and they didn''t really go together, and one was a bit sloppy looking. I imagine this is somewhat rare for Frye though.
I might order them again in hopes of getting a better pair. As they say, your mileage may vary (and Amazon does free returns on this item.)

I bought another pair in black, with which I''m quite pleased. The soles on these ones are elegantly shaped (and symmetric), and the left and right fit about the same. One has a slightly different level of polish than the other, but this will even out as I wear and polish them myself. I would get them again. Very comfortable, with not too much support.

The shoe is exactly as it is represented in the picture. I wear 8.5, and it fits exactly as an 8.5 should fit me, and the shoe is made well (doesn''t feel cheap or look cheap). Needed a pair of "slippers" to wear inside and for quick trips out to back patio. But my arthritis demanded more support then normal slippers offer. Even though these are called shoes; I ordered the Camel Felt which look more like slippers. They give me the support I need for evening relaxing after wk. I just wish I had ordered a bigger size. They are very tight with my thick socks I sometimes wear in the evening. Now at least I am not in pain after I take off my daytime shoes in the evening. I have not tried them with my orthotics but suspect a bigger size may be needed for that.

Finding a pair of reasonably priced cream sandals is harder than it sounds!Thankfully, I discovered these while browsing Amazon and added them to my wishlist.My mom recently bought them for my birthday and I am very pleased with the purchase.These are very stylish and good for work or casual.The Amazon product image is accurate as to the color.These are a "natural" cream color, not tan or taupe, as often happens.Some might consider them beige but I think they are lighter than that.I love the flower embellishment over the toe.I have uploaded pictures of the actual shoes I received.
The size is fairly accurate as well. I wear a 7 and these fit, however, my toes hardly show (which they normally would in an open toe sandal). I think these are a bit longer at the toe than average, but it doesn''t really detract from the shoe.These are a bit stiff, probably due to being brand new, but are pretty comfortable none-the-less.Overall, these are reasonably priced (and currently available via Amazon Prime) and good quality.Highly recommended!

I was really looking forward to getting these to go with a couple spring outfits I have.The picture shows a very pink shade, even though the name says "coral." When the shoes arrived, I was sad to see that they are not even close to pink.They really are more of a coral-red or orange. I trusted the pic instead of the name, since color names don''t usually mean much.They don''t match anything I have, and then I tried them on and found an oddball fit, too.The shoe is very narrow, but the ankle strap seems to run large.The t-strap in the middle also seems a little long, so it doesn''t want to lie flat against the foot.They don''t come from amazon, so there''s a 15% restocking fee if you send them back--so even if you''re a Prime member, you lose money if you don''t like these wierd colored, wierd-fitting shoes.Lesson learned.
