These shoes are wide. I normally can get away with medium width shoes but these were way too wide. I returned them.

I just received these shoes and I am so disappointed to find that they are squeaky horrid plastic.Yes, they look cute. So i guess that means for future reference that when it says"leather or synthetic"in materials, I should definatley pass-how am I to know WHICH they are?

I just received these today, did not buy thru Amazon but another online merchant.I visited an MBT retailer yesterday and tried on MBTs for the first time, they felt great.However they did not have the EMA in stock and I needed it for a cruise.I ordered 39.75 size as I wear a size 9 and they fit perfectly.I have narrow feet but I can wear these without socks or with thin socks.The manufacturer''s web photo currently shows these with a toe thong, but the ones I received today did not have that.The EMA is very stylish, the sole appears a bit thinner than the old models, therefore I would feel comfortable wearing this as a dress shoe.Still getting used to the rocking horse motion, but based on all the reviews I have read, this shoe should be great for my lower back pain, and my chronic foot pain following multiple foot surgeries.

The "Ema" MBT sandal is fantastic ... comfortable and good looking. But I was really upset to find the same shoe on sale last week for $107 less than I paid. (Herrington catolog) If I hadn''t worn them the day they arrived, I would have sent them back. Shop around.

I really wanted to like these sandals; I had wanted them since they 1st came out.MBT''s tend to run short and I normally wear a size 10, but there is no half size, so I ordered an 11.. I probably would have been o.k. with the length if I had been able to tighten the foot straps so that my foot did not slide forward, but there are no adjustable straps on the foot. I have another pair of MBT sandals in an 11 and they work o.k. because I can tighten the straps in three different places. These sandals are cute, but poorly designed, especially because you cannot count on MBT''s fitting the same from one style to the next.I have since purchased a pair of Skechers Shape Ups sandals and I am very happy with them.I will probably not purchase another pair of MBT''s.

These sandals boast an unusual design and are quite comfortable to wear, but I find them less pretty in real life than in the online picture. I got the Sunflower Nappa and the actual colour is more... well, mustardy... than I''d hoped. Toenail polish is a must with these sandals.

Also, I think they run just slightly small, especially in width, such that if you are between half-sizes, you might feel better about the larger one. I usually take 8 but am happy with the 8.5 here.

Still, I''m going to keep them because they go well with casual warm-weather clothes; they also grip well and are bunion-friendly.

Update (4th Nov 2011): I have read several reviews of Cole Haan shoes suggesting that they tend to run a little small across the board. I agree as I now own three pairs, all of which fit me well in 8.5.

Very comfortable, although it took a few times wearing to loosen up over the toes...probably just me.Otherwise, I love wearing them, the low heel is stable, comfortable for walking and looks good with skirts, dresses, and pants.

These heels are exactly what I was looking for... simple, classy, versatile.

The things I do not like about them is that the strap rubs my ankle in all the wrong ways.I tried to loosen it, but it made the shoe ''flop'' around too much.Tighter was just uncomfortable and rubbed even more.

I''m keeping them and use my Band-Aid blister stick when wearing them to keep it from rubbing so much.

Oh and the holes for the buckle on the strap were not punched all the way through, I had to finish them out to buckle the strap, not a big deal, I suppose because they''re so inexpensive.

The man made material had a strong unpleasant odor right out of the box.The shoes look sexy but they tend to push too much weight forward.This style sandal is popular and there are a lot of other shoe companies making basically the same thing.My wife sent these back and spent a little more for the Steve Madden Realove model which is way more classy, just as sexy looking, and far more comfortable.
