I was pleased to find these closed toe espadrilles on Amazon as I''m looking for something that is cool and summery, but more professional that open-toed sandals for work. (Am I the only one who thinks toes at work aren''t formal enough, even in a casual workplace where pants and khakis are the norm?)These fit the billI have a similar Navy Blue pair from Adrienne Vittadini that did not come in black.The design fot those, also for sale here on Amazon, is almost identical, and they were a bargain find at T.J. Maxx.Here on Amazon I paid a good $20 more, but the quality is not as good.The shoes look greatthe charcoal color actually looks a little darker than is pictured.And they will be very versatile.However, the padding in the footbed is pretty minimal and a day of walking had me wondering if I could conceal some Dr. Sholl''s gel insoles in them!There isn''t much shock absorbsion.That being said, they are still much better for a comfort shoe than some spiky stilleto.

If color does not matter to yougo for the Adrienne Vittadini shoes as opposed to this model.I wonder if they weren''t both made from the same design at the same Chinese factory...

These shoes are very cute. They fit true to size and are comfortable for heels. They will match tons of outfits, can''t wait to wear them out.

This is an extremely comfortable shoe that easily transitions from work into evening.The heel height and soft insole are ideal and these can easily be worn with pants or a skirt.I gave the shoes 4 starts for two reasons, both of which are simply a matter of taste but are things I believe differ somewhat from the picture.First, they are a bit darker than the image shown I was expecting a lighter camel color and they are a shade or two darker than expected.It''s still a very nice shade and neutral enough to go with just about anything.The toe is also rounder than it appears in fact, very round, so wearing with pants can make your feet look smaller.Again, these are style preferences that differ for each person.Overall, these are great shoes for the price and definitely comfortable enough to wear all day.

The shoes are comfy and nice. I got the black pair and they are very cute and versatile as well. I wore them for the first time to a wedding today and I walked quite a bit. They were an easy break in and my feet only started to hurt towards the end (after much standing and walking). My only complaint is that in the picture, they have a "leather" lining on the inside of the shoe, and when I got them they have a cloth interior with silver innersoles, much like the other colors.I prefer the "leather" but it''s no big deal. Timberland Men''s Granite Trails Sandal

I bought these sandals and immediately walked about 8 hours a day for three weeks in them.. No callouses, no issues.

The only thing that bothered me was that when you feet sweat heavily, you slip around in them.. but every sandal does that.. I suppose it could have better ventilation underneath, but not sure how you would do that?

I walked all around Newfoundland''s Signal Hill in these (4 hour hike) and my feet weren''t tired despite the harsh terrain. I also walked for two weeks through Italy in these... only issue was getting into the Vatican in them as there are no open toed sandals allowed.

All in all. a very good sandal that takes a beating, and doesn''t wear down although the straps did start to crack on the top where the vinyl is, the under-strap still holds fine.

Highly recommended.

I have had these for a month.Wear them on weekends.Comfortable even when worn on gravel paths.

A TOP quality sandal. I use them for yard work and errands. They took some frequent adjusting in the beginning (my son told me this would happen). This is my first pair of "back-strap" sandals. @ 64 I was unsure. My other sandals just did not provide sure footing for yard work.

Exceedingly comfortable (they accommodate my high instep), good traction both wet and dry, and stylish. The insole has molded to my foot providing additional comfort. After 4 mos. of daily wear they look as new. I estimate 4 years of use until replacement.

When I get really dirty I just go into the shower with the sandals on my feet and wash them as I shower.

I could not imagine a more comfortable, versatile, or quality product.

THis is a pretty shoe, no doubt. Downside, the leather absorbs dirt/water/moisture. The toes'' area are quite narrow despite i got the super super wide and I am a medium shoe. never wore wide. I am lightweight so I dont wear off shoes easily, but the "extrmemly narrow" strap broke quickly as the leather is soft, it bends a lot. The leather/faux leather inside the upper shoes came off the main leather too. I dont use this for walking or shopping and was careful with it..so go figure. if you like a pretty shoe that wont last long, this is your shoe. The worst part for me is the strap and then the leather that was not treated enough to resist dirt and moisture....better tanned leather could have preserved that color. But Trotter''s are known for using soft leather though...so if you owned one, you know too well it was short lived.

I have had a severe case of plantar fascitis for over a year. It came on all of a sudden one day. I did have the mnorning pain like is typical, but the bigger issue for me was that I would have debilitating pain causing me to limp severely on weekends when I was on my feet most of the day (vs workdays where a large part of my day is sitting).I have tried therapy, exercise, night braces of all designs and shapes, foot wraps, whole shoe inserts, 3/4 shoe inserts, specialty shoes with built-in arches, etc.After almost a year, I learned that there were 2 things that helped more than just a tiny, tiny bit like all the rest.

First, really extended foot stretches.For me, I get the best results when doing the plank (bonus core and upper body work, too!)

And second, wearing shoes all the time with arch supports.The best thing was the expensive orthaheel sandals, but since their variety is so limited and not very nice even at that, I searched for months trying every arch support insert I could find.I''ve tried over a dozen and this one by Dr. Scholl''s is my favorite.It is both the right size, feel, comfort, but also one of the very, very few that is clear and can be worn with both sandals (since they are clear) and with heels since they bend easily.

I might even stop searching for cures now as with these 2 I have my pain under control!

Struggled with fallen arch and plantar faciatis for months until I found these soft gels. Sure the stickiness doesn''t last, but get the double sided tape or shoe gu and its fine. We on flip-flops and tennis shoes. Works great.

The two companies should collaborate and include a small bottle of SHOE GOO-TUBE CLEAR with these arches. Before you permanently attach your arch supports tape them into your shoes and make all the adjustments you need until they "disappear" under your foot. I like these because I have very high arches (like a lot of women) that are more toward the front of my foot then 3/4 or full length arch support footbeds expect. You can''t move them around from shoe to shoe but they don''t move around under your feet when you are wearing them either. I am not a big fan of "gel" because I prefer something soft or fabric so I top these with a full length insole like the Profoot Care Miracle Men''s, Blue, 2-Ounces Units (Pack of 3). Because I wear an E width and width can be difficult to find, I cheat sometimes and wear men''s shoes. But men''s shoes have arches that are too low and further back then women, as well as ankles that are too wide so I goo in heel liners as well Dr. Scholl''s Heel Liners, Women''s & Men''s, 1 pair (Pack of 6) It''s a lot of effort but all my shoes feel custom fit. Arches are a must if you love ballet flats.

I bought these sandals late in the Summer,but wore them often because they went with so many things and were comfortable right out of the box. I normally wear a size 7.5, but got these in a size 8 and still found them to be running small. I would suggest going up a whole size from what you normally wear if you don''t want your toes or heels hanging off of the shoes.

These are very sexy, and despite the look of them, they are easy to walk and balance in. The platform offers a great foundation. The only setback is that they are really cut for narrow feet. I ordered a half size bigger than what I normally wear, and they are still tight in the toe area. So my advise would be to go up and least a whole size when buying! Other than that, they are wonderful and deffinately turn heads!
