I bought these sandles to replace my three year old Rainbows and I couldn''t be happier.The Rainbows were hard on the top and my feet were drying out and cracking so I figured I needed some softer shoes.These soleRebel''s fit the bill!They arrived via UPS a little hot and slightly bent but after a wear or two they flattened right out and felt great!I bought the blue ones but some of the other colors were very temping!The tops of the shoe are a nice soft material and unlike my Rainbows they didn''t take much time to break in.Even the piece that goes between your toe''s is soft for the first couple of wears.If you are on the fence about these sandles I would go ahead and take the plunge as they are very comfortable and seem to be high enough quality.

I love this shoe by Aerosoles. This is my 4th pair as I''ve bought this style in various colors over the past couple of years. As a real estate agent I''m on my feet a lot and wearing these shoes makes all the difference. I can go all day and my feet feel great. UPDATE: August 14, 2012I had to toss these sandals about six months ago. They simply began to fall apart and were hurting my feet. I should''ve thrown them out last year, actually. So, let''s say I got about 3.5 years of wear out of them. I guess that''s okay, but they were definitely not as long-lasting as I''d hoped they''d be. As they aged, they got less comfortable instead of more comfortable. Revised my rating to four stars.

I had some Birkenstock knock-off sandals, and wore them for seven years until they were falling apart. I could never bring myself to throw them out, because no matter which other sandals I purchased, I kept coming back to my comfortable, slip-on, cork-footbed sandals. My roommate also loved them for quick trips outside, and when he moved away this month, I let him take the old, battered pair and decided to invest in some "real" Birkenstocks.
I was a little uncertain about the price, but then thought about the fact that I spent forty dollars last year on a cheap pair of sandals that are very uncomfortable and have already worn out, despite the fact that I haven''t worn them often. One hundred dollars, more or less, is worth it if the Skorpios last as long as my old pair ... and I see no reason why they shouldn''t. Birkenstock quality is famous.
I like the look of the Birki''s Skorpios better than the traditional Birkenstock design -the narrower, separated straps give it a more appealing look. I wasn''t sure at first if "Birki''s" was the same as "Birkenstocks". The company website reads "Birki Schuh...was founded in 1993 in Germany by Stephan Birkenstock, who remains General Manager of the young family brand today..." I''m still not sure if the two companies are linked, but the quality and branding seem to be the same.
I was hesitant to order them online, but I located a sizing chart, figured out that my 10 1/2 "D" footsize translates to a 43, and ordered the sandals. I''ve been wearing them for only a few days now, but they''re already as comfortable as the knock-off pair I wore for years. In fact, they''re MORE comfortable, since the my old sandals were slightly too small for my feet.
I''m impressed by the sturdy, burnished leather straps and heavy buckles -the materials are of very high quality.
My only complaint -and it''s a minor one -is that the shoes were wrapped in only one small peice of tissue, and the left sandal arrived with a pretty major scratch on the leather caused, I think, by one of the buckles. Obviously, if I wear these sandals as long as my last pair, they''ll aquire more than a few scuffs and scratches, but it was still kind of disappointing to have then scratched right out of the box. Even after I applied shoe polish to the scratch, it''s still visible.
I mention this only because it can be a consequence of buying shoes online. In a shoe store I would''ve selected a pair without the scratch, or negotiated a discount. Since I ordered online, it''s far too much hassle to send the sandals back and order another pair. If the possibility of receiving a slightly imperfect shoe bothers you, I''d recommened shopping locally.
All in all, I''m very satisifed with this purchase. These are great sandals! I have no intention, by the way, of ever wearing them with socks.

I have weirdo feet one size 7B one size 6C.I ordered size 37 from the sizing chart on Birki''s website.The pop up sizing chart recommends size 38 for 7.38 would have been too big.
These accomodate my wide width & with the adjustment I can keep them on both my feet with no problem.They are ultra comfy & don''t flip flop.
They have plenty of room in the width so I am thinking those with Narrow feet might not be as happy with them.

numbered not in order of importance.
1) they shrink more thanlittle if you wash them alot in warm water...this is especially a problem when it comes to putting on "your toes".
2) the cotton is too thin for me and most good organic cotton socks like some of the Maggies line and it seems like it thins and fades too fast after use....more dense soft treated organic cotton needed!!!!!
3) the protective studs are not dense enough to make for a breakthrough in ''sock technology''.
4) t00 pricey for what they end up becoming.
5) I recommend buying yourself one pair in a size larger if possible, and pick one with color (not white)

I have a few pairs of toe socks (not sure if any are from this company) and I love them.
The Injinji yoga socks are especially outstanding.Amazon was out of those, in the color and size I wanted.
So I ordered another pair from ToeSox, and when they came, they don''''t fit.I followed the manufacturer''s recommendations and ordered a large (I wear a 10.5 shoe), but they''re just very difficult to get on (and I''m used to putting toe socks on), and once on, they''re really too small and just don''t feel right.I have pretty normal feet, but these socks are apparently not designed for the human foot.

Neil M Men''s Rome Slip-On Loafer
These are the most comfortable shoes in my closet. The only thing that feels more comfortable are my Birkenstock sandals. I have four pair of Neil M. Romes and will buy more if I can find them on sale. These are the ONLY shoes I have found that work well with custom orthotics. I have flat feet, and I used to run a lot, which resulted in some other foot problems. So I had to have a foot doctor make me some rigid and semi-rigid orthotics (for $400!). Well, they cause pain in just about every pair of shoes I have, except running shoes and Neil M. Romes. I wear my Romes at work all day, then when I get home, I''ll notice a couple of hours later that I''m still wearing them! That''s because my feet feel so good I don''t even notice my shoes. That NEVER happened with any other pair of shoe I''ve worn to work. I notice the Neil M. literature says their shoes are made to accommodate orthotics. If you don''t normally wear orthotics, and you find that there''s a little too much room in your Romes, just put arch supports in the shoes. The smooth leather Romes do show some wrinkles after you wear them a couple of times. The leather is soft, but they won''t look brand new after the first couple of wearings. I own these shoes in three colors.What absolute comfort!Stability is also very good as your foot does not roll like with other slip-on brands.I''m regularly a size 10.5 in lace-up dress shoes and the size 10 fits perfectly.I would recommend ordering a half size down from lace-up sizes for this specific model.The leather is soft and softens even more with time and wear.You can dress these up with dress pants and a jacket or down with jeans.They are quite versatile.Moreover, they are made in the USA which I see as a big plus.They don''t wear down easily and last for years.Strong recommendation to purchase!

Don''t purchase from SoleConnect.After three months of wearing the brown shoe a handful of times, the rubber bottom began to separate from the upper leather part.I contacted the seller via Amazon and a refund or a replacement was refused because they state the return window closed.As mentioned in the original intact review above, I own three pairs of these shoes in different colors.There is NO problem with the shoes (tan and black) purchased at my local retail store even though I''ve worn them many more times.
I brought the shoes purchased from SoleConnect (along with the other two pair purchased at a local store) to a shoe cobbler who does work for Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.The store has been around the Washington, DC area for many years and is very reputable.He indicates that the shoes from SoleConnect are in his opinion junk and not the same quality as the other two pair of Neil M Shoes purchased in a local retail store.The repair cost is $25 for both the right shoe and the left shoe because both shoe rubber bottoms are peeling off the leather upper.Even then, the shoe cobbler is reluctant to say these will last.I''ve always praised Neil M Shoes and have many pair; however, I can no longer recommend this pair purchased from SoleConnect.Buyer Beware.

I bought these a few months back, and I am quite satisfied. These shoes are very comfortable, and do not require much breaking in. I highly reccomend trying these on. Also, the footbed is removable, making these easier to customize to any foot shape or size. I personally left it in, and added tongue pads and am very satisfied.
