The heel is pretty high but these shoes are super comfortable and lightweight. I usually wear a size 7 but got these in 7½ and they fit perfectly. I love Sam Edelman''s sandals, so I thought I would love these booties, too. The arch seems a little high, and the lack of a platform makes them a bit painful to walk in, probably not the best shopping/stand-in-them-all-day shoe. Excellent shoe if you need something dressy but don''t want to or can''t wear high heals.The "mocha" color is a nice rich chocolate brown.The metal accents are a brushed dull gold color not a bright gold.The shoes are easy to put on and take off, and are very comfortable basically a walking shoe masquerading (quite well) as a dress shoe.

These boots are just as described.I wear 8 1/2 size shoes and my feet are on the wider side.I ordered the 8 1/2 booties and they fit just fine with regular socks (they''re a little snug if I wear those thick athletic socks).Since they''re wedge shoes, they look TINY so it''s good for people with big feet!
There is no give or stretch to these and no elastic, so if your foot fits, great.If not, you are stuck!

Just received this sneaker for my 5 year old son, saddly it will be going back. The sizing is way off. I got my son a 1.5 little kid and I thought that would be a perfect size b/c all his shoes now are size 1 or 1.5. Boy, was I wrong. His toes touch the end of the sneaker! I will be getting a size 2.5 just to be safe and to give him alittle growing room(hopefully)! So if you plan on buying these, size up! Nice looking sneaker just run small.
These are unusual, so of course I had to have them. The price was right and the quality is very good. But, they feel a bit awkward to walk in. I feel slightly like I am walking in flippers! I already own the black version of these wedges, so I decided to get these tan ones.It''s a sturdy platform that is comfy to walk in.I did notice a difference though between the black one that I already own and these tan ones the material is much softer on the black ones.These tan wedges start to rub on the side of my toes after about 3 hours of standing/walking in them non-stop.Regardless, they are knockers.They elongate legs and pretty much go with any outfit. Love!
