Bought my first pair, identical to these, in Israel two summers ago.Wore them EVERY day.Slowly the toe band stretched out so they were feeling a bit big...so the next summer I bought pairs two and three.Wore them OUT, practically speaking, and again the toe band was stretching, so at the end of this summer (''11) I bought this pair and am putting them away until next summer...or my trip to Rancho Mirage, whichever comes first.LOVE these sandals, obviously.Now, all I have to do is ask a shoemaker to help me with the leather toe bands and I''ll really have 4 pairs ready to GO!

Probably a little too late to be reviewing these sandals...but wanted people to know that OluKai makes a quality product. I hadn''t heard of this brand before and took a chance on these...and I wasn''t sorry. Very sturdy and comfortable with a clean, streamlined look...I enjoyed wearing these to the beach in the summer, and having them on-hand for when I simply need something on my feet to do something quick outside, they are always ready at the front door. No problems with fit (adjustable) and unlike some other slip-ons these stay on your feet...as long as you''re not wearing socks. And really, if you''re wearing socks with sandals you have bigger problems that I can''t help you with.This is a size 8. Slipper. I bought this one not knowing what the size was, i read all the documentation and it said all sizes. If you are a size 8, then this is an excellent slipper for you.

To me where the shoes are made is very important. This one says made in italy in the description but nowhere in the shoe does it say that way. Other than that, it''s pretty good. Pattern leather tends to make things look kind of cheap but not these. They look like they''re good quality. I''m usually a 6.5 but I bought 6 since that''s the only size available and they fit just right. I am fairly small (5''5/5''6 give or take and 108lb) and I''m size 0 on pants or xs in shirts and jackets. The strap tend to be a little big on me. I assume if I had ordered 6.5 the straps might just be too loose. but the straps on these 6 fits me on the tightest setting. It''s great price and great shoes.

Ordered two pair (red and black).Normally wear 7 slim.Figured with the hook and loop I could adjust width to fit my narrow foot but due to the way they are made it is not possible to snug up the fit with the hook and loop.The shoe was way too wide.I returned the shoes and ordered size 6.5 narrow figuring the shorter length would compensate for a narrower fit.The 6.5 narrow was still too wide.Since I could not adjust these to snug up the width I returned both pair and got a refund.Amazon provided good service with the exchange and ultimately the refund.

Just got these shoes today and LOVE them! Run true to size and look just like the picture. Very comfortable with enough heel to make them dressy (2.5"), but not too much. I bought these for a cruise and they go with all my summer dresses and formal ones too. The gold color is very pale, so it works with silver outfits as well as gold tones. The metallic sheen is just enough to catch the light without being gaudy. Dressed up or down, these shoes will go anywhere. Unfortunately, the upper part is a harder leather with rough edges, and it rubbed painfully against the tops of my toes at the peep toe area. Some of their shoes like the "star step" model run 1/2 size large. But this one is true to size. The wedge is a bit higher than I prefer, but I don''t wear them all the time either.
