These are Hot Sexy sandals! I love that they are adjustable with real buckles so you can loosen or tighten where needed. Are they high? YES VERY HIGH! Are they comfortable? YES! I''m not sure why but these don''t hurt my feet at all and my feet are very wide. They do run true to size, I went up half a size as I usually do in high heels but these would have been fine in my usual size, I just like a little extra room for gel inserts and my wide feet. They take some getting use too because they are very high, they make me 6''2'''' but they really don''t hurt for some reason, very surprising! They are a little slippery on the sole so be careful and rough up the bottom so you don''t slide and break your neck! They are well balanced and easy to walk in despite the height but if your not use to very high heels wear them inside till you get use to them, even if you never make it out the door in them your man will thank you for these shoes! very sexy sandal. and surprisingly comfortable given all the straps and heel height. a bit cumbersome to put on and take off (you really need to open up all 3 buckles, not just the top) but worth it given how good they look. would''ve preferred the brown to be deeper they are a little lighter toned than they look on the screen but I can always oil the leather and darken them on my own later.

PO-ZU ''KUNG FU''-STYLE LOAFERS are really where it''s at these days. Made from 100% recycled material (when they are tweed I''m not certain but even the suede ones I own are recycled suede). The soles are almost 100% latex with about 2% rice husks!

These are extraordinary shoes for T''ai Ch''i or any other wu su discipline you follow. My suspicion is these are based on the high-end Buddhist martial arts masters'' shoes of ancient times. They feel like it: somehow when you wear these it seems to compel you to walk properly, viz., like a master ready to spring to action!

A word of caution: these shoes do not have typical insoles, but rather what the company calls a "mattress". This is bad news if your feet, like nearly everyone''s, are wide. The thickness of those "mattress" insoles robs the shoe of its correct roominess. So they can be a bit tight and quite the struggle to slip into when you''re on the go.

This comfy coir foot mattress is supposed to completely conform to the shape of your foot with wear. I wonder about that, because at a certain point these "mattress" insoles are over half an inch in thickness that means a lot of room in the shoe is taken up by it. If this discomfits you, remove the "mattress" and add a simple, comfortable full insole such as Dr. Scholl''s Massaging Gel Work Insoles, Men''s Sizes 8-13, 1 Pair. I understand the latex used is carefully sourced from certain trees, but no need to worry if you have a latex allergy.

This comfy coir foot mattress is supposed to completely conform to the shape of your foot with wear which it certainly does. Also, I understand the latex used here is carefully sourced from certain trees.

Still, I cannot recommend them enough. I see no maintenance problems and Po-Zu is gracious enough to enclose a card with care instructions. The care/maintenance of these is not too difficult.

Therefore I had no qualms about reviewing the women''s style same goes for you as for us men.

I wonder how many actual martial arts masters wear these. I''d also highly recommend them for skaters.

Nina Women''s Eterna Wedge Pump

I wore these at my September wedding and they KILLED my feet. I discovered early that finding an attractive and affordable pair of ivory wedge heels (for an outdoor wedding) was difficult. I got these with an amazon credit, so didn''t even pay the full amazon price. They are beautiful shoes, and I needed a wedge to prevent my heels sinking into the ground. The bottom heel is flat, but curves in sharply near the heel and becomes narrow, so your weight is not distributed evenly and forces your weight on your toes like normal high heels. I wore these a few times to try and break them in but it didn''t help. I ordered a size 51/2 and had to buy Dr. Sholls toe pads because the heel is so steep it forces your foot forward in the shoe so my heel slipped out. Fortunately I had also bought a pair of wedge flip flips at BridalFlipFlops on etsy,com so I had a comfortable pair of backups to slip into after the ceremony. Unless you are OK wearing very tall high heels or only plan to wear them a short time, you may be happier with another style. These are definitely not practical.

I wore these shoes for my wedding and they were great! I received so many compliments on them and I almost lasted the whole night dancing in them!

There are only two Minnie issues with them. 1st they run a little big or it''s that your heel tends to slip of them easily, quick fix... Heel grippers! I used them for the wedding and no longer had a problem. 2nd thing was the color, I ordered the shoes in the ivory color but the shoes were a little more on the white side than ivory for my taste.

They still worked and everyone complimented me on my shoes as well!

I highly recommend them if you need a wedge shoe for a wedding.

I purchased these for my outdoor wedding in September. The packaging was beautiful and it comes with a Lovely plush bag to carry them in. They have extra padding where the balls of your feet hit. They are very comfortable while walking but not while standing still. I wore them to my dress fitting and my feet were killing me! I will admit to being a bit skeptical about purchasing shoes over the internet. I am a visual person, :) so I always like to know how something is going to look on me before buying. ( I hate having to deal with returning/shipping items as well)

I had checked out some department stores and some other shops at the mall. I did go to Steve Madden at the mall, and I saw these boots and wanted to try them on, but sadly they did not have my size. They were exactly what I was on the hunt for. :)A simple, classy and stylish boot that would not kill my feet if I were to wear them all day. :) So imagine my heartbreak when yet again my long size 10 feet were turned away. ;)

I decided to try Amazon, since I had some luck in the past finding items on here, though shoe wear was never something I thought I''d buy on this site.......well I am so glad I did because not only was my size available, I got them for $15.00 cheaper!! Even better! (Free shipping too!:)

These boots are heaven to my feet. :) I love the length, (I have longer legs so I was worried where these would exactly fall on me, they fall just below my knee) I like the slight "positioned" slouch they have to them. These boots do not "pull down" when you walk in them, they stay put. With my previous pair of knee length boots I was always having to pull them up as they would "fall" after a bit. These don''t do that.

They are very comfortable to walk and be in. They are simple yet so stylish! I like the flat heel, it really makes for a comfortable fit. I have some high heeled boots, but after so long, your feet start screaming for a break. :) You''ll wear these all day without any tears. :)

I also recommend getting a suede protector spray, I got these in black, and with most suede boots, it will pick up dirt....you''re going to want protect these lovely boots for as long as you can! :)

Though I normally wear a size 6, I first got these in a 6.5 to be safe. They were too big, and one boot had a larger circumference than the other, so the looser one kept slipping down... Amazon has excellent customer service, so I was able to send them back as defective and order another pair (this was Thanksgiving so I also got a 30% off)

These boots are very well-made, they''re so soft and comfortable! They''re also really warm so I''m hoping they''ll keep me nice and comfy through the winter. The real suede is really nice so I sprayed it with suede protector. Highly recommend these!

I got these in the hunter green and the coloring was gorgeous.I slipped them on and they fit okay, but they hurt the soles of my feet!The design of the boot is niceslouchy, relaxedgreat to be paired with rolled up jeans and/or a lazy skirt... presumably.

STYLE:

the boot came up mid calf.I have long legs (36" inseam), but I''ve found a few pairs of boots that reach my knees at least.These came up to mid calf, which had a way of cutting my long legs in half, making me look awkward.I tried to pull up the "foldover" part of the boot and even with that up, they still barely reached the bottom of my knee cap.

The slouchy design is wicked cute.I wished these fit me right.

the rounded toe and the flat foot paired with the slanted rise of the front of the shoe for the top of you foot, makes the shoe look like an elf shoe.(especially in the green color, unfortunately.I maybe should have picked a different color for my first Steve Madden flat boots)

COMFORT:

the sole of the boot is really hard.The foot casing cuts into the backs of my heels/ ankles.

I ordered a size 8 (which is my typical sneaker size) and they were a little big for me.If you''re borderline sizes, order down.

there was plenty of room for the calves, even when the top of the boot hit right in the "meat" of my calf muscle.

the shoe is so flat that it actually hurts my foot.There is no arch support whatsoever.Could be just me, but I guess I really can''t do flat boots.Ifyou have high arches, these aren''t the shoes for you.

Other Steve Madden boots have come to me "small" but these boots are true to size. They do not fall down when you wear them and they are very nicely "scrunched".Very comfortable.The gray is an odd color dark but not a true dark gray.It doesn''t really match heather gray, light gray clothes although it looks "OK" so I wouldn''t really recommend that color.
