So I ordered a size 13 of these shoes and they arrived timely as I always expect from Amazon. However, when I tried to slip them on they barely fit and hurt my feet. I immediately removed them and sent them back. Every other shoe I wear is a size 13, but it appears I would need a 13.5 or 14 men in order to have these shoes fit. Consumers may want to make note of this and try a half size or full size larger to compensate.
Firstly, I already owned a pair of similar shoes in white.I like to walk a lot, and these were extremely comfortable and durable.So I decided to try this pair in black to use in the gym, especially on my weight lifting days.I really love the the width of the bottom of the shoe.This really provides great balance and stability when I''m doing squats or dead lifts.
Secondly, while these are black Skechers, with a big white S on the side, they look slightly different than the picture.The picture seems more gray than black, and the three dark stripes that run from the top to the bottom of the shoe aren''t on mine.I do like the way mine look though, and I love the fit.I wear them with a pair of black/gray Gold Toe socks, which just show about a half inch out of the shoe.Just high enough so the back of the shoe isn''t on my achilles.
I am definitely a big fan of Skechers now, they fit my slightly wide foot much better than the more expensive Nikes or New Balance.Each of which I have tried.

I have used sketchers for many years and they always used to have a good durable product. But I bought two pair of Skechers Men''s Stamina Nuovo Sneakers for the gym and they started having problems in the first few weeks. First the stitching at the front of the shoe that holds the rubber on fell apart, letting the rubber toe of the shoe flop around(I had to glue it back on for a short term fix) then
the loops that the shoe laces are run through started unraveling and coming out of the shoe, making lacing the shoe impossible! this happened on both pairs of my black Skechers Men''s Stamina Nuevo Sneakers. I also have a grey pair and a blue pair. that have been unaffected by these problems. It seems that Skechers is not keeping up on quality control as much as they used to. that''s too bad this used to be a great company (they used to give you a second pair of laces when you bought shoes) it sucks that they have quit that practice also.
now I have to start looking for a new cross training shoe company that can produce a product that lasts more than a few weeks!!!!!!

I have purchased this shoe at a local retailer in the past and really liked it.After checking amazon I decided to purchase a new pair online, as the color I wanted was not available at the retailer I used previously.The shoes were delivered promptly, but the rubber sole was defective.After requesting a replacement, the second pair came and they too were defective, missing a shoelace eyelet on the right shoe.I opted for a refund after that, now believing that the product offerred through amazon must be quality control rejects.
Let me tell you, this is one hot shoe for your summer vacation! The heel is very easy to walk in and silky fabric upper makes it comfortable to wear even on a very hot day, when your feel swell. I usually wear 8.5, but go up to 9 sometimes for summer, because again, your feet can swell and you want to be comfortable. I actually ended up with size 8 for this shoes. It runs super large. And I have wide feet. So order a size smaller. I got "green" color and it matches the picture very well.
