Mephisto Women''s Hannel Sandal

I ordered Mephisto Hannel sandals about 4 years ago. They saved my feet. I was having terrible problems with my arches and the soles of my feet. After breaking them in they were perfectly fitted to my feet. I can''t remember how long they took to break in, but I do remember that they felt funny for a little while when they were new. Then--bliss. After wearing them constantly at home over the last 4 years they are worn down, but in one piece, save for some cork along the sides. Also I had to punch in new buckle holes for the buckles because the leather relaxed after about 2 years. So now I''m looking for a new pair for the next 4 years.

This is not a review of this seller. I bought mine at the mall.

I have chronic foot problems including plantar faciitis, tendonitis, etc.I can not wear most sandals.This Mephisto women''s Hannel sandal is one that works for me.It has arch support, is comfortable, and is stylish as well.It comes in many colors.My favorite is black.The only thing I would change about it is the color of the footbed.I would prefer a black footbed with black sandals instead of gray.But, this is a small concession when evaluating the shoe''s comfort, support, and versatility. I recommend this sandal to anyone.

I''m not able to normally wear a sandal without a strap on the back, but these stay on so well you''ll never notice. I started wearing Mephisto''s because I have a high arch and it would really hurt my feet to walk a long ways in my Teva''s.These shoes have saved my feet.I own five pairs. They are pricy by some people''s standards (flipflop wearers!), but if you have foot issues and aren''t a fan of Birkenstock. Then Mephisto''s are for you. Highly recommend them!!! I purchased these shoes because they were a different color of a pair I already have and love. However, these are apparently made by someone else or of some different material than the ones I own. They are so stiff and rough I couldn''t wear them more than a couple of minutes before I had to take them off.

I am very disappointed. I had hoped to have 2 pair one light, one dark but that isn''t going to happen.

The pair I have has made my life so much better because I have dancer''s toe and resulting arthritis in my left foot. I have been miserable for 4 years, spent a fortune at the foot doctor and this pair of shoes is the first thing that has made any difference for me. They are the ones I go to every evening when I come home from work to make my foot feel better.

So very disappointed to not be able to have and wear another pair.

These are great sandals. They are very comfortable and mold to your feet well. It is just thick enough and gives a little bit of height. What I really like though is the style of the straps which makes the shoes more comfortable. This shoes has a 3rd strap which also allows the shoe to hold on to your foot better and doesn''t feel too loose like a shoe might with just 2 straps. Had this for about 2 years.

Skechers Women''s Hot-Ticket Slip-On Fashion Sneaker

I bought these to be commuter shoes -shoes to wear with my suit on my way to work.I really like the look of them.The black fades away and the overall shape of the shoe make them comfortable to walk in.What makes them uncomfortable is the lack of padding.I admit that I wear them most of the time with dress socks or hose and not an atheletic sock but after the first couple of days my feet started to hurt and blister from the lack of padding under the ball of my foot.I''ve had to get gel inserts to be able to continue to wear them.With the gel inserts they work pretty well and I still wear them to work every day.If I had to do it over I probably would get the more expensive option I was considering in hopes that it would have more padding.They''re good but not great.

These are THE most comfortable shoes and I love the way they look on.They have a really clean look to them and love that they are slip-ons with no ties to hassle with.They have a snug fit, but not too tight or loose and the mesh material on the top makes them somewhat breathable vs. the "Bikers-Dream Come True" which I ordered by mistake (the second time) as I didn''t know the name of these "Hot-Ticket" at the time as most features in the photos looked the same. The difference between the the two are where the Hot-Tickets have the mesh material on the top of the shoe, the Bikers-Dream Come True have a hard leather which I didn''t like the look of.In both pairs I ordered the white.With the Hot-Ticket (the ones I like), I noticed that all of the other color options (besides the white) have suede where the ''white'' color has a smooth hard leather -I personally don''t like suede because it''s more difficult to keep clean so was glad that the white ones don''t have the suede. The description on the Bikers-Dream Come True describe them as ''leather and fabric'' so it''s a bit misleading since the only fabric is in the center which is the tongue underneath the bungee laces.

For me they do fit true to size.In regular dress type shoes or sandals I wear a size 8-B shoe, but in tennis shoes I wear an 8-1/2-B and these fit like a glove -not too tight or too loose.Someone mentioned they were a bit too wide but I didn''t notice that at all as I like to have some breathable room around my toes.When you are standing up they have perfect arch support and cradle your feet so you stand up more straight, and they are pretty easy to get on and off too.(FYI, I have an average arch.)

The one ''con'' that I would like to note is that very early on after my first purchase, I spilled something on the top of the mesh part of the shoe and when I washed it off, after it dried it looked a little dis-colored and greyish looking under the mesh, even though I did wash it with mild soapy water and rinsed it very well.The other part of the shoes wipe off very easily and are pretty scuff-resistant.With a darker color you probably wouldn''t have that issue, but I love white shoes so I just bought another pair after awhile.One other thing to note is there isn''t thick padding on the ball of the foot which is only noticeable after walking for a couple of hours or more on a cement surface, but you could put an insert in the front part of the shoe if you wanted to since it is not real snug in the toe area.

Overall I''m thrilled with these shoes and really love the comfort and simple but très chic look.I''m sure I will keep buying these as long as they keep making them.Highly recommended!

I bought another similar Skechers shoe in the past, but couldnt fit my feet inside the opening of the shoes, so I was hoping that the opening on these was wider...and they are. They fit my feet perfectly and are very comfortable and lightweight. They look very cute and also make my feet look smaller due to the design & patterns on the shoes. Received these sandals in record time (3 days after ordering) and they look exactly like the picture. They are a beautiful Caribbean blue and very comfortable. They fit, but with no room to spare, so if in doubt, you might order 1/2 size up. The width is fine for me, but there is a buckle that can be adjusted. They seem to be made very well but, due to winter in Texas, I haven''t worn them enough to know yet, hence the 4 star rating. The heel height is just right for shorts, jeans, or summer dresses and skirts.Oh! and the price made them impossible not to buy.

I have my own cleaning business and I''m on my feet all day. Recently we were going on vacation and I needed a sandal with some support and definetely comfort for my tired old feet. A catalogue of mine had suggested this sandal. Well, I decided to go out on a limb, spend the extra money and try them. Much to my surprise, they are worth every last penny. We walked and walked all over the resort and I didn''t even need to brake them in. I would recommend this sandal to anyone, especially those with problem feet.

I bought my first pair ofSoftwalk sandal last year and loved it. This year the Tahiti Gladiator sandals seemed to be build on the same model as my first pair.

I would have preferred a bronze color and was a bit worried about the gold being gaudy but it is not, the color is fine and can be worn with warm or cool colors so it is quite versatile.

Just what I was looking for: cushioned sole, comfortable ankle strap, a bit of height (could be a bit more), good workmanship.

My son loves these!!! And who wouldn''t love the look of them? He wore them to school two days and the treading started to come apart. I didn''t want to take them back since he liked them so much, so I just used a little fabric glue to tack down the loose threads and all was well. I did it again to new loose threads after 2 weeks of wear. Except for the maintenance to repair them and the visible wires that attach under the velcro part, they are great. I do wonder how long the lights will last though once it starts to rain or snow since they are somewhat exposed. For being a Stride Rite brand, I would have expected MUCH higher quality shoes...although the boys will love them!

My son loves Star Wars but I was hesitant to buy a pricier pair of shoes since I pride myself as a bargain shopper. The photo makes the shoe look nice; not quite the classic look I recall my father wearing, but close. But nothing could be further from the truth, it turns out. This is the cheapest looking, shoddiest shoe I''ve ever seen. Please note that I''m no expert on leather (patent or otherwise), so I''ll take Stacy Adams'' word for it that the uppers are actually made of leather, but to hand and eye they feel and look like plastic. Had I been less enthusiastic to own a spectator-style slip on, I''d have been suspicious of the "croco print" terminology. By "print" I suspect they mean "machine embossed," although I''m not conversant with shoemaking terminology. Whatever. The stitching is poor, and the edges where black overlays white are frayed, and the "penny strap" is actually a solid piece, meaning you might get a fingernail in the slot, but never a penny. Thank heavens for Amazon''s return policy!

Bought these in green and they are truly the most comfortable shoe I have had in years despite a number of somewhat serious problems that I presently have with my feet which have made it very hard to buy shoes that look good and still feel good. This is my second pair of Jambu shoes and I am sold. I loved my first pair so much, I decided to try my luck with a very different style, and I am so pleased. The sizing is true to my regular shoe size, whereas the first pair I own is a size smaller than I normally wear. I did have to exchange them, but that process was seamless. Amazon makes that so simple.

The shoes are very comfortable, but it took me a few days to acquaint myself with the bungie-like straps and at what adjustment is too tight versus just right. These are really go-anywhere, do just about anything shoes that feel like you''re not wearing any shoes at all.

A recent camping trip proved they are even worthy of the out-of-doors in ALL types of weather, rain included.
